Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

How many does he go for? I've got under.

He is averaging 31.9 a game with a game of 0 in a 9 game sample. Pretty impressive.
“He’s always been a guy — maybe to a fault — he would always try to do what I said. That seems like something simple in coaching, but those are the guys I hang my hat on. We’ve had some guys in our program, we had a couple guys that felt I had a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. And they were right — I do have a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. I like guys that go to class, that are academic All-Americans, that come early, that stay late, that love the game of basketball. I am biased towards those guys. And I’m biased towards Rob Hummel. But I’m also biased towards their habits, their work ethic, and how they carry themselves."

"I’d take him to the ends of the earth — I’d want him playing for me.” - Bo Ryan on Robbie Hummel

With the best defender in the country on him (Kramer) I think he'll score closer to 3.2. for the record, my guess is 3 points!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What do you think, Dan?

Boiler UP!

Hail Purdue!

I'll take the over if Kramer is exclusively guarding him.

If Homely starts jock grabbing, the under has a shot.

I'm thinking he'll get close to 30. Most of them will come from the FT line I think though in the second half. He will do a good job of getting some Boilers in foul trouble too

I'm going with the under. Much like Bobobinc said in another thread, I think Lovedale will create more problems for us. We can rotate several defenders on Curry, and with him playing the point guard role, I would be surprised if he puts up more than 25 in this game.

"Liberal, shmiberal. That should be a new word. Shmiberal: one who is assumed liberal, just because he's a professional whiner in the newspaper. If you'll read the subtext for many of those old strips, you'll find the heart of an old-fashioned Libertarian. And I'd be a Libertarian, if they weren't all a bunch of tax-dodging professional whiners." - Berkeley Breathed

Wow. 19 points under.

Yeah, Kramer can't play defense at all.

that was a damn impressive job kramer did on curry. and painter had a great scheme going on. constantly rotating defenders. and habving robbie fairly solely dedicated to keeping curry out of the lane. if you noticed, anytime curry tried to turn the corner or drive at all, robbie came off his man and used his length to force curry around and away. the whole team seemed very well prepared and executed well.

and ub, anything else about kramer's horrid defense?

I don't think Sports Center mentioned Kramer's name, which is surprising. They showed one sequence when JJ jumped out and altered Curry's shot. Overall, a great defensive performance. I got the Uconn-Gonzaga game and didn't get to watch the game. It looks like Painter fixed the slow start problem. Last year the team really responded when Ibuild started posting his homer shit on the ESPN board, so maybe he got us going again this season.
