Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

Duke up 46-18 on Xavier.
“He’s always been a guy — maybe to a fault — he would always try to do what I said. That seems like something simple in coaching, but those are the guys I hang my hat on. We’ve had some guys in our program, we had a couple guys that felt I had a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. And they were right — I do have a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. I like guys that go to class, that are academic All-Americans, that come early, that stay late, that love the game of basketball. I am biased towards those guys. And I’m biased towards Rob Hummel. But I’m also biased towards their habits, their work ethic, and how they carry themselves."

Up 31 at half over 7th ranked Xavier on a neutral court.

Like I said after the Purdue game, and after many people doubted when they got upset at UM, they are one of the three or four best teams in the country, and when they are playing well, they can beat anyone.

CBS switched over to the Michigan State vs Texas game. If this game goes into overtime and pre-empts the Purdue game I may shoot my TV (oh wait, I don't own a gun) B)

How about Minnesota up 12 on Louisville with under 8 minutes left? So much for the Big Ten being so down.

And as Gerbilboy would say, Xavier window dressed a 25-30 point beatdown into a 18 point loss.

Duke is pretty damn tough.

And as we speak, MSU pulls ahead of Texas.

MSU takes down #5 UT at UT, Minnesota takes down #9 UL on a neutral court, and Purdue is up 24-2 on #22 Davidson.

Gerbilboy is having a seizure somewhere.

MSU played Texas in Houston, so technically it was a "neutral" site

Duke's definitely a top 5 team, but I don't think Xavier deserved that number 7 ranking. In my opinion, they're really maybe a 15-20 team that got a ridiculous boast to number 15 for beating Memphis, and then top teams losing and them squeaking by against average teams just slowly got them that high.

Great day for the Big Ten. Big wins for Minnesota and Michigan State, and a quality win for Purdue.

Gerbilboy will be happy to point out that Davidson outscored us in the second half.

Xavier just got spanked at home by Butler tonight.

Expect their #12 ranking to drop at least below 20 next week.
