Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

Were up 34-22 at halftime.

Moore has 11
Johnson has 10

2-11 from 3 which isnt very good, and there shooting 6-8. Proably the reason were only up 12

Any one watching on Espn 360?

I'm watching. That in-bounds play with 1.6 seconds left was pretty impressive.

Robbie's having an off night.

I had a class this past semester with him, he is a ridiculously nice guy. I think he even realizes he doesn't belong here. He's just a big body to throw around in practice. Only a two year deal and he loves it here said he plans to be back next year even though he isn't playing ball, finishing up his degree and being in the Paint Crew.

I agree with all of you. It's just that you would think that playing the game so much with quality players he would improve a little.

He's definitely not a DI player, but he knows it. He has a blast with the Paint Crew every chance he can. One night against maybe Arkansas Pine-Bluff when everyone in the student section was bored, he was playing hangman from the bench with some kids in the Paint Crew with a mortar board. After a game when he does something especially dumb and he's standing by the students singing the song, we'll make some reference to it (in the best, joking light. No one is trying to crack on the guy) and he'll laugh and hack around with it. He rights a weekly article for the Exponent about life as a player with a bunch of comical stories or whatever. He's having a ton of fun, and everyone loves having him around even if he's not the best player on the court. Or the bench. Or the people in row 14, whomever might be sitting there that night.

I was at the game. Johnson had 21 and 9 but it was just ridiculously easy in the paint for him. We were sloppy in our shooting, but that's no big surprise considering it's a home cupcake and just 48 hours after a good win in Indy.

Chris Reid is who he is. He has done exactly what he was brought in to do. And the crowd, along with his team mates, loves him so it's easy to tell that he's a good guy to have on the team. But I was a little surprised at the two airballs.

I though Marcus had a nice impact on the game when he came in during a 17-17 tie. Quickly came up with two loose balls and a nice offensive reb that lead to a bucket. He probably ignited the 11-0 run more than anyone.

And it was a good opportunity for Calasan to get some rest. He only played three minutes tonight.

I really feel like Green has stepped up and became a leader on this team which is good considering he is a senior but I never saw him really being able to take the responsibilities over. Lately he has played with in himself. He hasnt taken the first wide open three he gets and keeps the ball moving in the offense looking for a better shot. He has also upped his hustle and pursuit for rebounds which is definately something this team needs. I never thought I would say this but I am actually confident when Green is on the floor and has the ball in his hands.

Totally agree. I've been saying that for a while now. I think he is stepping into the leadership role of this team. I expect him to have a great year.

His two 3s against Davidson were huge. They were make a little run right before halftime and he hit those 2 3s and put us back up 20 at half.
