| Welcome to Our Hoosier Board! Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions. Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful. Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine! ...and poor sport. Refused to talk about last night's game. http://sports.espn.go.com/ncb/recap?gameId=283572509 Did he seriously think his team was going to win last night? |

C'mon, Vision. You've got nothing better to do than this? All there is is just one line in that whole story that says he went straight to the team bus and didn't talk to the media. No other details were given. Did you even stop to think that maybe he had some legitimate reason for leaving right away? No, my guess is you just saw an opportunity to blindly bash a former Hoosier and you took it. Nice job, man. Get a life! |

Yeah, whatever floats your boat. For some of the paranoid schizos out there, I wasn't "jumping" at any opportunity to bash an IU player. If he was a former Buckeye, Wolverine, Badger, etc. I would have said the same thing. Fife was a big crybaby when he played and some things never change. Did he have a legitimate reason for snubbing the media? Possibly yes. Likely no. The beauty here is that this is a message board, not a courtroom. Edited by BoilerVision, Dec 24 2008, 09:49 AM.

The situation around Konvict's firing sums up Dane Fife perfectly. 1. For months, he swore up an down that he would leave if BK got canned. 2. Then when BK finally did get canned, Fife cried about how he doesn't wanna leave. Ultimately, Fife never went anywhere and no one was surprised. 3. Fife's emotional baggage brought down the entire team for several months of the 2000-01 season. It's one thing to yell at officials when you don't get the call, and to take a cheap shot at an opponent who's trying to get up off the floor. Fife not only did these things, but was a childish baby behind the scenes as well. |
