| Welcome to Our Hoosier Board! Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions. Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful. Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine! And let the arrogance over a mediocre program continue!!! |

“He’s always been a guy — maybe to a fault — he would always try to do what I said. That seems like something simple in coaching, but those are the guys I hang my hat on. We’ve had some guys in our program, we had a couple guys that felt I had a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. And they were right — I do have a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. I like guys that go to class, that are academic All-Americans, that come early, that stay late, that love the game of basketball. I am biased towards those guys. And I’m biased towards Rob Hummel. But I’m also biased towards their habits, their work ethic, and how they carry themselves." "I’d take him to the ends of the earth — I’d want him playing for me.” - Bo Ryan on Robbie Hummel

Cam I am surprised you replied to this thread. There is no arrogance on my part. I know ND is mediocre. The fact is though that there are several posters who continue starting threads about how bad ND is and how irrevevant they are and yet Weis & co. have won 3 out of 4 against you guys, and the people on here who start threads about ND every week prove that the are not irrelevant regardless of how mediocre they are. |

You're a good ND fan, Hog. You'll be pleased to learn that my daughter got a ND sweatshirt from her aunt yesterday. Of course she prefers the Purdue shirt she got from my parents. |

I'm not sure how disliking Notre Dame equals envy or relevance. I dislike Wisconsin football, does that mean I'm envious of them and that they are very relevant? The reason for the threads is that Notre Dame gets lots of attention from media talking heads because most of those people still have it carved into their minds that Notre Dame is still the Notre Dame of the 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, and early 90s. That doesn't make them actually any more relevant in today's college football than any other school. I personally don't enjoy the "LOL Notre Dame is so sucky, lulz!!!" type of threads. I have a respect for ND, I don't particularly like them, but I don't really dislike them. It makes me sick that they get media coverage and people like to get on their knees for them, plus there is a large portion of annoying ND fans, but thats not the fault of the good fans and the actual team. I also can't stand Charlie Weis. |

I think the announcers from last night were probably on their knees in the locker room after the game giving Chuck some love. They definitely were sucking up verbally during the game. |

Yeah, four hours of non-stop "Notre Dame is back!" talk was funny and nauseating at the same time. They keep hoping if they say it enough times that it will eventually come true. |

Envy of a team that has gone 10-15 in two years? I hope you weren't serious when you posted that... |
