Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

the more money we pour into it, the worse the "problem" gets. see a correlation? look at where america has her troops stationed around the globe. the greater concentration of american troops; the greater the drug producing areas. wait, dont say, "well, were fighting the problem, duh." the "problem" continues to grow each year regardless of our presense. we are facilitating the drug trade as we pay lip service to "fighting" it.

I had my own run in with the law yesterday over this very issue, marijuana. A buddy and I went to a local park to smoke a joint, drink a couple beers, have a philosophical discussion, and check out the scenery with my badass new pair of binoculars. Upon walking back, we were greeted by a swarm of cops surrounding my car. Apparently, some asshole called 911 and said we were smoking.

They harangued us for a good 30 minutes (during which time all three cop cars were running cursing ). Patted both of us down (luckily my buddy had his sack stashed in a zip pouch in his shoe, and the wind blew the roach away, because I definitely would have kept it) and breathalized us as well. I blew a .1 and my buddy, who is only 20, blew a .14, so my buddy got a drinking ticket. The officer that was questioning me tried using his stupid little copper mind tricks on me, but failed miserably. I'm too smart to fall for that shit. He said shit like, "So how much marijuana and cigarettes did you guys smoke out there?" I called him out on his use of mind tricks immediately, telling him he was utilizing "shady tactics", haha. I was stoned as shit, hence the strange wording of my objection. He also, after we had both already denied smoking pot, asked, "Have you smoked?" I was like, "Have I ever smoked?", to which he just re-asked the exact same question in an even douchebaggier way than before. I was like, "I'm just trying to clarify what exactly it is that you're asking me, sir".

The ironic thing is that a large part of the conversation I had with my buddy while smoking centered on the illegitimacy of our draconian drug laws. Also worthy of mention is that at least ten (that's a literal number) friends/acquaintances of mine ended up seeing us getting fucked with.

Fuck the state.

Did you guys see that Kelloggs dropped Phelps after the pic with the bong? I think it is slightly ridiculous in this day and age that it is theat big of a deal. You have athletes drinking beer and it's no big deal. To me there's no difference. I am dumping my Frosted Flakes in protest.

I don't blame them. Not a good image for kids who idolize Phelps, and kids are the primary group of competitive swimmers.

The body knows what fighters don't: how to protect itself. A neck can only twist so far. Twist it just a hair more and the body says, "Hey, I'll take it from here because you obviously don't know what you're doing... Lie down now, rest, and we'll talk about this when you regain your senses." It's called the knockout mechanism.
