Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

Your new sig made me lol.
hey now, Rod was my boy, if you don't recall though, he blocked David Teague's would be game-winning shot in a very entertaining IU/PU game.
I liked Wilmont as a player, it was just completely random.

I don't recall that game though, I have tried to black out Keady's last season and Painter's first season from my memory. Same way with the back half of the 2004 Purdue football season.
you know, I can't place my finge r on which specific year it was. I want to say it was Rod's sophomore year, maybe junior year. and im pretty sure it was keady's last year.

correct me if i am wrong, but wasn't painter's first trip to IU a complete blowout, where Joey Shaw went off?
That was Painter's second season that Shaw went crazy and we got killed. Ugly game for Purdue. The return game went a lot better for Purdue.

Lets hope IU plays well and/or Painter has a short memory because that first game was a 27 point shellacking. And if I remember, IU didn't exactly let up at the end of the game. Obvioulsy, different players and different coaches, but this year's game could be similar and possibly even worse.
“He’s always been a guy — maybe to a fault — he would always try to do what I said. That seems like something simple in coaching, but those are the guys I hang my hat on. We’ve had some guys in our program, we had a couple guys that felt I had a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. And they were right — I do have a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. I like guys that go to class, that are academic All-Americans, that come early, that stay late, that love the game of basketball. I am biased towards those guys. And I’m biased towards Rob Hummel. But I’m also biased towards their habits, their work ethic, and how they carry themselves."

"I’d take him to the ends of the earth — I’d want him playing for me.” - Bo Ryan on Robbie Hummel

Iu didn't let up at the end?

they started pulling starters with 10 minutes to go in the game. IU was just flat out better.

you were right. i looked up some stuff, and it was Bracey Wright (yuck) who blocked Kenneth Lowe, however in that same game, Wilmont hit 2 threes in the final minute to seal the deal.

I am probably out of the contest now, cause I was at a race last weekend and forgot to post my prediction. But, I will say NW by 10 unfortunately, I don't see IU winning any road games this year.

Believe it or not, you were only a few points behind me in 5th. That was Monday when I looked. I don't know how often Brum updates this.
