Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

Yeah, you need to let us know the grade and any comments your prof made, should be interesting. Nice work by the way!

Very good read, but I know most of my old poly sci professors would rip that apart for not having much content. Even if they tell you its an opinion piece, they seemed to always expect you to correlate everything to related readings and reference them until your paper reads like a boring text book... hopefully you've got a cool AI that grades it.

The satire and dumbed down language (knock a knock on you) are pretty thick and really helps get your point across easily. That said, I'm not sure who your professor is but I think he'd probably be more impressed with the same argument, but written in a more forceful manner. I'm sure he is aware that you know your shit and he could could be looking for that one really great piece from you. Or I could be wrong, and he may thoroughly enjoy your paper in an otherwise sea of boring, unintellectual pieces from others in the class. I'm with the rest of the board. Would love to hear how you do on it!

The guidelines for the paper were very vague, and even doing what I did took a very liberal interpretation of his instructions, so I didn't feel the need to expound upon any of my points. Obviously if I were writing a legitimate paper I would have had much more content.

judging by how lazy poly-sci professors/AIs are, i'd say he doesn't have the paper back yet. it used to take me AT LEAST 2 weeks..

I got an A. The only comment he made (other than little in text comments) was "Overall, good".

Very anti-climatic, I know.

Very anti-climatic
Thats what she said
“He’s always been a guy — maybe to a fault — he would always try to do what I said. That seems like something simple in coaching, but those are the guys I hang my hat on. We’ve had some guys in our program, we had a couple guys that felt I had a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. And they were right — I do have a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. I like guys that go to class, that are academic All-Americans, that come early, that stay late, that love the game of basketball. I am biased towards those guys. And I’m biased towards Rob Hummel. But I’m also biased towards their habits, their work ethic, and how they carry themselves."

"I’d take him to the ends of the earth — I’d want him playing for me.” - Bo Ryan on Robbie Hummel
