Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

we measured it earlier with a ruler at just over a foot.

So you have more inches of snow than ND will have in conference wins

We got about 5 inches yesterday and then about a 1/2 inch to inch of ice during the day into the night and I'd say we got at least another 5 inches during the night into today. It just now finally stopped! I haven't been to work in two days. It sure is pretty right now though!
Then get to posting we are on a mission here. SirBri went until 3 am last night.
Ha Ha, I will try. I wasted like 20 minutes reading that one welcome thread!

It is 1 PM and it finally stopped snowing. They said that the Muncie Aiport calculated 13 inches. WOW. That is a lot of snow. That is the second most I have seen this winter. I was up in Grand Rapids for a Wedding in December, right before Christmas and we got around 18 inches. But I want you to know, nothing closed or shut down and when they say snow removal, they acutally remove the snow.

IU1fan, good to see you back on here posting again. Have fun at home today.

Thanks, I have been around reading posts, just haven't posted much. I guess I am a bit depressed by this basketball season.

My parents called this morning from Evansville. They said they got about 6 inches and lost their power. The whole friggin' town including UE and USI are completely shut down.

Well, I'm down here in Bowling Green, KY, right now and we only got about 1/2 an inch and the sidewalks and steets are pretty clear. Sucks to be you guys up north. :D
