Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

Jones 3 kinda blows. Dribbling off his knee when no one is guarding him, throwing the ball away needlessly and poor handle skills are inexcusable. unfortunately for IU, his backup is a 5'7 craker who dribbles just as bad, shoots worse and would get picked last at your local YWCA.

Hulls will make an immediate improvement next year. IU's single biggest problem is bad PG play. kills the flow to the offense, results in many MANY empty possessions and leads to easy baskets the other way.
now THERE'S something ill cosign to. i hate to be critical of anybody playing under the circumstances this year, but jones kills us more often than not.

Jones is 6'4 and I thought that would be a huge advantage but unfortunately he dribbles way too high and with his head down - kinda bad combination if you ask me. He either has to drastically improve his ball handling, court vision, decision making or become a lights out shooter at the 2.

Jordan Hulls and co can't get here soon enough

i dont see jones staying 4 years. he has too much improving to do and i feel crean will bring in more guys (guards especially) who can play now.

I could see that too. He seems to think he's really better than reality would suggest. Like he's the "man". Is he a sulker? I dunno, he'd never see the floor on a typical IU team.

I don't think he blows. But I do agree with most of yours and UB's comments. I do see improvement out of him and the other players on the team. But those freaking turnovers, especially the unforced ones, are driving me crazy. :banghead:

However, I do see him staying 4 years and be a combo gaurd that can really help the depth of this team.

I really don't have any love for any of our current players, but I reall like Pritchard. But his missing bunny shots and his relunctancy to shoot the mid range 8-10 foot jumper frustrates the hell out of me. I am starting to come around with Dumes, even though I have said he is consistantly inconsistant. He is starting to get more consistant. Nick Williams plays good, then bad typical freshman. Will supply depth to next years team as well. Story, jury is still out on him. One good game doesn't make you a good player. Every once in awhile, a squirrel finds a nut.

Sweet, lastly if you get time, I'm still waiting on the last 7 digits. I haven't forgotten the first 3!
hahahaha.

i'll give you a finite problem:

there are 7 numbers and 9 possibilities for every one, in this case order matters.

thus, there are 4,782,969 possibilities for his phone number. try them all out?

That's not exactly true. There are 10 choices for each number (0-9). I'll give you a C- for effort.
