Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

I must have screwed this up, but, I was born in Mishawaka, raised in South Bend, went to DePauw University, and then to IU before going into the Air Force. I'm in Colorado now (since 1976).

Got drunk and fucked a donkey got the clap, lost my job, rent a room in a trailer, have 3 teeth and 9 kids and love welfare lines.

In these lines I noticed there was a plethora of IU wear so I decided to see what all the fuss was about.

I was born in Bloomington, grew up in Bloomington, and went to IU. I guess I'll vote IU student.

Poor guy never had chance.
“He’s always been a guy — maybe to a fault — he would always try to do what I said. That seems like something simple in coaching, but those are the guys I hang my hat on. We’ve had some guys in our program, we had a couple guys that felt I had a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. And they were right — I do have a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. I like guys that go to class, that are academic All-Americans, that come early, that stay late, that love the game of basketball. I am biased towards those guys. And I’m biased towards Rob Hummel. But I’m also biased towards their habits, their work ethic, and how they carry themselves."

"I’d take him to the ends of the earth — I’d want him playing for me.” - Bo Ryan on Robbie Hummel

Funny, I was born in South Bend and raised in Mishawaka.

"Liberal, shmiberal. That should be a new word. Shmiberal: one who is assumed liberal, just because he's a professional whiner in the newspaper. If you'll read the subtext for many of those old strips, you'll find the heart of an old-fashioned Libertarian. And I'd be a Libertarian, if they weren't all a bunch of tax-dodging professional whiners." - Berkeley Breathed

I didn't go to IU but I grew up in Bloomington and have been attending games since I was a toddler. There has never been any other basketball team for me but the Hoosiers.

Don't attend IU, but I was born and raised in the Hoosier State. I like to cheer for other teams in Indiana, but the Hoosiers are my number 1 team. :goiu:

Raised in Indiana and went to IU for undergrad. My first basketball memeries were from '87 and Smart hitting the last shot. Too bad we haven't seen anymore championships in recent years, even though the year we went to the final game against MD was my Junior year at school. That was a blast.
