Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

While IU has improved and become very competitive - finally on the road against a decent, not good, NW team is a positive step. The team continues to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. Horrible execution in final possessions - could be a Crean achilles? Freshmen; Smrenshmen - they have got to learn to finish a game once in a while. Way too many empty possessions - at least get a fucking shot off.

Pritchard is looking better and better. He's a keeper

Williams is way undersized at the 4 but battles and can finish some tough shots. He's AJ Moye with more talent and no Down Syndrome disfiguaration. He's a keeper.

Now the tough ones:

Jones3 is improving but reminds me of an ethiopian Marco Killing-Us. For every 2 good plays he makes 3 bad ones. Perhaps with maturity, confidence and some off season HGH he'll be much better. I'd recommend working on his spot up shooting to become lights out. His career as a PG might be shorter than John Thain's at BAC. Since I'm an eternalal optimist, I'll reluctantly keep him for now.

Malik Story - he's another tough one. he'll miss the wide open jumper badly and then make one with 5 hands in his face. He can't handle the ball and his passing is worse than a half back's. He reminds me of a semi cute looking girl that gives great blow jobs but cheats on you every other month. You want to boot her to the curb but just as you're about to do so, she's undoing your zipper. I guess keep the slut as a 10th man next year.

Dan Moore - the scraper sucks. Cut him but promise to hire him to mow your lawn this summer. That work ethic has to positively translate somewhere.

Dumes - juco plug who's the oldest (note, I didn't say smartest) retard. He can create his own shot and is streaking, otherwise suffers from chronic Killing-us syndrome.

The rest of the team? Let 'em go dominate some B league down at the hyper.

I agree, except for Roth. I would keep him in the same category as Jones and Story. He has potential.

What, no Finkledinkle.

Can we take Jobe's heart and put it in an athletic zombie.

I forgot about Roth. He's a great shooter but will need more talent around him to mask his deficiencies. Once he learns to move without the ball and rub defenders off screens he could be a better version of Kyle Hornsby.

I'd keep him.

Holy shit, this may be the greatest post ever.

This is like the Nag/UB all in one post. The Malik Story thing is the best.
“He’s always been a guy — maybe to a fault — he would always try to do what I said. That seems like something simple in coaching, but those are the guys I hang my hat on. We’ve had some guys in our program, we had a couple guys that felt I had a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. And they were right — I do have a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. I like guys that go to class, that are academic All-Americans, that come early, that stay late, that love the game of basketball. I am biased towards those guys. And I’m biased towards Rob Hummel. But I’m also biased towards their habits, their work ethic, and how they carry themselves."

"Liberal, shmiberal. That should be a new word. Shmiberal: one who is assumed liberal, just because he's a professional whiner in the newspaper. If you'll read the subtext for many of those old strips, you'll find the heart of an old-fashioned Libertarian. And I'd be a Libertarian, if they weren't all a bunch of tax-dodging professional whiners." - Berkeley Breathed

Kevin, apparently YouTube doesn't have the full version. It's a shame, this short clip doesn't really do it justice, you really have to see it all to appreciate it.

In the full clip, the rest of the guys in the band can hardly complete the skit, trying to not laugh at Will Ferrell. It's hilarious.

It's just a skit that SNL did. Nothing more.

Not to hijack the thread, I think UB was spot on with his summation of this year's team. Danny Moore doesn't deserve to be in Division 1, I don't care how young/inexperienced/bad this team is.

Most other years he'd be winning an Intramural Championship this winter.
