Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

Sweet jesus I've been at work for over an hour. I used to have nights like that where I'd drink til the sun came up. God I'm growing up. Lame.

the good old days. I actually had one of my professors at Purdue tell me to go home one morning, because I showed up to the lab wearing the same clothes I wore the day before in class, and I smelled like bacardi.
Enjoy the good times, because after college you don't get to do that shit very often anymore.

I've been at work since 7:00.

I doubt that professor felt sorry for you. Just wanted to get your ass out of the room before everyone gagged to death.

I would have to question the pace of your drinking. Your typing is precariously accurate for someone who has been drinking for 9 hours straight, assuming you starting in the vicinity of 10-11 PM. What were you drinking? Mike's Hard Lemonade???

I concur... and normally after 9 hours of drinking followed by feeling like I'm going to yak, I'm laying on my bathroom floor. Staring at a computer screen would make the room spin even more.... :-/

in all defense...i post shit-faced all the time here. i take time to review what i type and make sure its accurate. no reason tim cant do the same thing. the key is slow down and read what you typed before you hit "submit". i do it all the time.

You're comparing drinking during the day versus drinking all night? I don't know who you've drank all night with, but who the hell paces their drinking at 1 am? That's when you're taking shots every ten minutes in between rounds of beer bong.

It definitely could happen. I've had all nighters where it was just some friends hanging out instead of a party. Either way, just seemed strange to be at the point of yakking and want to get on a message board. I haven't yakked in a long time, but I don't remember ever being at the point of puking and thought staring at a computer screen was a good idea.

I'm having a few beers tonight, but tomorrow I'll likely be drinking most of the day. My fiance's cousin, who was an Arabic translator in Iraq, is coming home tomorrow, so they're throwing a big party for her and her husband whose also in the Army and home from Iraq.

i hear ya. problem here is, obviously im out of work. financially im okay for awhile, no debt besides the house which my wife can pay, and unemployment pays the bills. (imagine that) all the time in the world and nothing to do.
"idle hands are the devil's workshop." my wife is about to kill me though. its funny. the laundry is done when she gets home and dinner is ready (im a killer cook) but she has a hang up about the beer in my hand. im like, "i didnt pay for it. my buddies on ourhoosierboard.com did. they have jobs. she just doesnt understand.
