Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

That sucks man, although we did have some frozen lines, had to call the "man" to come out and dig up some frozen ground. I'm looking forward to spring.

you would think a power company could tell you when they "expect" to be working on lines in your area. but telling me, it could be next week isn't a good enough answer for me.

I hate winter. I can't wait for spring either. Bgtmr, I live in Muncie and we had a terrible ice storm about 4 years ago and we were without power 5 days. Some people were without power over 2 weeks. That sucks dude, I fee for you. I hope you get power on soon.

My folks live in Evansville and lost their power too on Tuesday. But they got it back at about 3:30pm. They live on the Southeast side of E'ville close to a bunch of stores. My aunt and uncle may not get their power back until next week. Sucks to be them. Where do you live in E'ville, Bgtmr?
