Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

Expand Obama's cabinet to one million members, and rake in the tax money when they pay their back taxes...

The body knows what fighters don't: how to protect itself. A neck can only twist so far. Twist it just a hair more and the body says, "Hey, I'll take it from here because you obviously don't know what you're doing... Lie down now, rest, and we'll talk about this when you regain your senses." It's called the knockout mechanism.

The Messiah's government efficiency team is seeing if they can get that $1B study up to $2B.

I was once on a board of directors who had a meeting to talk about when they were gonna have a meeting.....I had to step down...reminded me way to much of government.

Just a thought...A low unemployment rate doesn't necessarily mean a thriving economy is in place, but a thriving economy will always lead to a low unemployment rate.

Well said......................how many new cabinet positions has the Messiah created? I believe the count is either 4 or 5 not including all the staffers for these new posts..........is this his idea of "infrastructure spending"?

Thank God for the Porkulus package, I saw in the bill that there was 200 million allocated to replace the sod that all the sheep tore up at the inauguration...........that is some funny fucking shit there!

Hahahaha, Porkulous package!!! That's awesome, I can't wait to use it!

But recidivating to my original thought, think back to World War II. Unemployment was virtually eliminated due to the war effort, but the majority of what was being produced was being blown up or otherwise destroyed (The Broken Window Fallacy applied on a massive scale). This is why the all too common notion that WWII lifted us from the Great Depression and got our economy back on track is total bull, an economic fallacy for the ages. Not until AFTER WWII was the production of goods that fulfilled needs and wants resumed.

In the case of the broken window, money sitting in an insurance holding account is put back into circulation. Destructive acts that are insured, tend to transfer wealth from the wealthier class to the working class.

the spending is an aberation, yes. i was refering to your "war time" quote. according to the prior administration, this war wont end in our lifetime. it leaves shit open for all his predecessors to spend as they see fit. what do you expect is going to happen? we will spend ourselves to ruin, then cease to be the US of A. what else can happen under the current circumstances?
