Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

I'm gonna say yes. I think he wants to keep coaching, and Georgia would be a pretty easy gig for him. The SEC is god-awful, there'd be minimal competition. He could bring in a completely different style and defense that would (hopefully) dominate. There'd be no pressure at all. And he'd be able to tap into recruiting down south that doesn't have a ton of competition and he'd be the biggest name for a few states.

he could win at Georgia. Who cares about "legacy".....you don't take it with you when you die. Do what you enjoy doing, and if he wants to coach, he should coach.

The body knows what fighters don't: how to protect itself. A neck can only twist so far. Twist it just a hair more and the body says, "Hey, I'll take it from here because you obviously don't know what you're doing... Lie down now, rest, and we'll talk about this when you regain your senses." It's called the knockout mechanism.

Bob Knight came out with his 'interest' in Georgia in order to somewhat bury the boneheaded temper tantrum Pat Knight just had. It's not like Georgia is going to hire a new coach right now, and if Knight wanted to come back to coaching he would be better off waiting till the end of the season to see who else gets fired.

i promise that bob knight isn't even in their top 5 lists of candidates. it would be foolish for georgia to hire him anyways. no way in hell he goes there.

ANTHONY GRANT!!!!!
“He’s always been a guy — maybe to a fault — he would always try to do what I said. That seems like something simple in coaching, but those are the guys I hang my hat on. We’ve had some guys in our program, we had a couple guys that felt I had a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. And they were right — I do have a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. I like guys that go to class, that are academic All-Americans, that come early, that stay late, that love the game of basketball. I am biased towards those guys. And I’m biased towards Rob Hummel. But I’m also biased towards their habits, their work ethic, and how they carry themselves."

By year 3, his team will be a force. When Donovan leaves for the NBA, he goes to FL and becomes dominant.
