but john mccain, not his followers but the man himself, supports a bullshit war in iraq, fought on bullshit pretenses, to prevent bullshit consequences from ever happening. talk about SERIOUS bullshit. BG, your logic and examples are seriously flawed. answer me. what iraqi ever asked for our help? i noticed you left your own thread aimed at nla a couple nights ago when i showed up. you never answered that question. WHO ASKED FOR OUR FUCKING "HELP"? |

Since you fail at thought and comprehension, I'll help you out. No, I never said such things. There was a convention is Minny that a large number of dedicated, liberty-loving individuals attended. Unfortunately (no offense trouble), there have always been a fair share of obnoxious conspiracy theorists in attendance at his speeches/rallies. Where else do they have to turn though? They share many of Paul's limited government views, they just happen to sometimes make absurd assumptions that result in them coming to illogical conclusions. Trust me, I had to put up with my fair share of shenanigans as the organizer of Michiana for Ron Paul. This being said, however, in no way reflects on Paul's ideology or personal opinions. To imply (in a completely incoherent fashion, by the way) that he believes that 9/11 was an "inside job" because some of his supporters believe that is tantamount to saying McCain believes that Obama is the anti-christ because some of his supporters hold this view. I've come to expect logical inconsistency out of you though, so if this is over your head I don't know what to tell ya. Nice sig edit, by the way. Very classy, really shows off your intellectual capacity. Sorry about your failed business ventures though, I'm sure you can find a job as an unskilled laborer somewhere. ...Okay, that last part was harsh. Obviously I don't mean that, but you frustrate me to no end with your asinine statements and logical fallacies. |

OLD School, I never said Ron Paul was a 9/11 conspiracy guy I said alot of his followers are. Apparently you agree with me some of his followers believe that crazy shit... Ron Paul means well but things have effects second and third order. Just because you do one thing and get your desired affect doesn't mean the action will not have disastrous consequences 2nd and 3rd order effects. Case and Point in the late 80's the USSR invades Afghanistan we fund and arm the rebels. Now Ron Paul people say stay out of it and the USSR without US leadership in Afghanistan kills hundred of thousands and then take Iran and Iraq. SO on until they control the middle East Oil. Action stay out of it effects USSR invades more nations kills millions and has control of OIl. The US action support the rebels even train and arm them. USSR leaves the shithole and the US money follows and the Radicals Attack the World trade center, Embassies, The USS Cole and then level the Trade Center. If we had help rebuild Afghanistan and created anything there and not allowed the Radicals to take over we would probably not be there today or in Iraq. I believe the Ron Paul just come home policy would have severe unintended consequences for America. We can diagree on that but I do know what I am talking about. PS OLD School 2024 or 2028 a good possibilty a Paulite likeminded person wins. Edited by boilergrad01, Feb 3 2009, 03:36 PM.

No one asked for our help trouble. The congress authorized Bush to go into Iraq so I went. When you start a war you kinda have to finish it. What do you think the results of a pullout in 2007 would have been for the US???????????????? |

any different than had we not pulled out? you cant prove or disprove what might have happened had we done something we didnt. neither of us can win any argument from this perspective. my question, and you finally answered it, IS NOBODY ASKED FOR OUR HELP. we took it upon ourselves to create this mess, didnt we? |

OldSchool, some of those people aren't that far off. I'm not a whacko conspiracy guy, but I also absolutely do not believe that Al Queda, Bin Laden, and the other 9 or so guys that are currently being blamed for this, pulled it off by themselves. I don't think they had help at the top of our government like the crazies do, but they had to have bought off plenty of low level gov/FAA employees. |

Trouble, We can and will disagree on this for years. I believe Iraq had Al Queda cells in iraq prior to the invasion. I believe iraq had chemical weapons. Hence the Sarin (sp) gas IED's in Baghdad in 2004 http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,120137,00.html We took over 500 tons of yellow cake from Iraq and shipped it to Canada http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/25546334/ I personally believe Iraq financially gave support to Al Queda. That is not a fact but my personal opinion. |

I personally still don't understand how a plane can leave it's course, go "missing" head towards the most populated city in the country, and basically go un-noticed? |

were gonna have to. you wont step outside your beliefs to try to understand anything else. i held alot of views 6 years ago you still hold. ive seen mountains of information that changed my mind. you wont allow yourself to be exposed to the alternative options so youll never change, imo. i could post and link until my fingers bleed, but ill never reach you. i dont try anymore. i just argue with you now for something to do. that and the hopes others who are undecided read our exchanges and consider what i say. |

As usual, no one was paying attention. Its the old "its not my job" union attitude. when something bad happens, claim you were in the restroom and blame it on the guy next to you. They dont screen employees well enough and hire people who will do the job for next to nothing. Would you take any personal risk for 8 or 9 bucks an hour? Fuck no you wouldnt.......they just look the other way (in most cases) and hope nothing happens......its the American (union) way. |

just THAT day too. and not only once, but 4 fucking times in 1 day. its unprecedented. never happened before, will never happen again. of course, you only need 1 time to kick off a 100 year war. after that, everything is kinda moot. |
