Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

and turdue fans wonder why they get completely abused.

if I didn't know better, I would have thought FlamerNLA started this thread
I think a better question would be, do you think '09 IU could beat '09 Indiana All-Stars?

The Marion team would probably have better coaching though, Bill Green was a legend.
that's a better question considering the mr basketball and runnerup are both going to IU.
And Purdue will have 3 players on the team.
“He’s always been a guy — maybe to a fault — he would always try to do what I said. That seems like something simple in coaching, but those are the guys I hang my hat on. We’ve had some guys in our program, we had a couple guys that felt I had a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. And they were right — I do have a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. I like guys that go to class, that are academic All-Americans, that come early, that stay late, that love the game of basketball. I am biased towards those guys. And I’m biased towards Rob Hummel. But I’m also biased towards their habits, their work ethic, and how they carry themselves."

LOL

Those scrubs will probably win more games at Purdue than your two "superstars" while they are at IU.

Hummel, Moore and Johnson = greater success for their team
Byrd, Robinson and Barlow = greater success for their team

You think Hulls and Elston will win more games at IU than Bade, Robinson, Barlow, and Byrd will at Purdue?

Those guys will win games for Purdue, or will they just be riding the coattails of a veteran team? If Purdue had to start over like IU did, I doubt you would be pumped about 3 role players instead of 2 potential studs.

But your class gets added to what exactly?

Purdue's gets added to a top 10-15 team starting 3 juniors and a sophomore. And then it'll get a top 10 class in 2010.

IU's class gets what? A 5 win team.

Good job being objective.

3 potential scrubs? You think they are going to be scrubs? Right.

Potential studs? Based on what exactly? How are the IU guys potential studs, but the Purdue guys aren't?

No a contradiction at all......

Yes.

There's one in Champaigne too.

Iu has 7-8 top 150 recruits in '09

a better class than Homely et al yet they went from 9 wins to 22 in one year

if you think IU won't be dramatically better next year you need a brain transplant
