Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,

give me the 2 best over the scrubs anyday.
LOL

Those scrubs will probably win more games at Purdue than your two "superstars" while they are at IU.
Those guys will win games for Purdue, or will they just be riding the coattails of a veteran team? If Purdue had to start over like IU did, I doubt you would be pumped about 3 role players instead of 2 potential studs.
3 potential scrubs? You think they are going to be scrubs? Right.

Potential studs? Based on what exactly? How are the IU guys potential studs, but the Purdue guys aren't?

No a contradiction at all......
Hulls and elston will finish 1 and 2 in the mr b-ball voting. all your turdue buttplugs will finish behind them. so yes, give me those 2 over the turdue hilljacks anyday

Iu has 7-8 top 150 recruits in '09

a better class than Homely et al yet they went from 9 wins to 22 in one year

if you think IU won't be dramatically better next year you need a brain transplant
7-8?

Name them please. I count 5.

Watford, Creek, Elston, Hulls, Muniru.

Better class than Homely's? One's ranked 8th in 2009 (and probably going to drop) and the other was ranked 6th in a stud 2007 class. Also, IU's class has one zero games, Purdue's won 25 in year one, including 15-3 in the B10, and is 17-4 and ranked #12 in year two.

IU will be better than this year, but do you think they'll go 25-9 (15-3) and win a tournament game?

We’ve had some guys in our program, we had a couple guys that felt I had a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. And they were right — I do have a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. I like guys that go to class, that are academic All-Americans, that come early, that stay late, that love the game of basketball. I am biased towards those guys. And I’m biased towards Rob Hummel. But I’m also biased towards their habits, their work ethic, and how they carry themselves."

Are you sure about that? It'll be closer than you think, but I agree, Hulls will probably win. But not because he's the best player in the state.

If either were going to Purdue, you'd be calling them unathletic zero crackers from some podunk city.

even Evil is owning dcums.

IU's class absolutely blows turdue's away
You act like this is something new. I made 7 out of 10 free throws granny style after jogging a mile. I can't wait for my scholarship to show up in the mail.

So why is he going to win Mr. Basketball? Because he is going to IU? I always thought the best player, at the time, usually wins Mr. Basketball.

Capo is ranked in the ESPN top 100 so he is a legit 150 recruit.

Rivers is most defintely a top 150 as a transfer playing against other freshmen.

There's 7 right there.

and turdue only has 3 players left from that class. I'll take these 7 over them anyday

When did I call them zero star scrubs? I've actually complimented this class hundreds of times. That doesn't change the fact that Purdue's group of 4 will win more games at Purdue than IU's group will. Thats not saying they are bad, thats saying the Purdue guys are going to a program that has more ability to win in the next 4 years.

That's not how the tone of your earlier post sounded. It seemed as if you were proclaiming that because the 3 Purdue guys would end up winning more games, that somehow made them better. In fact, since Purdue is mostly set, why wouldn't you want the 2 more talented players at this point rather than 3 role players. Purdue doesn't currently have the talent to win a NC, and most of college basketball will be in the same boat in 2 years as far as Junior/Senior dominated teams. Elite new talent is down. If you don't believe that, tell me how many current freshmen lottery picks there are compared to a few years ago.

LOL at ESPN. Their recruiting service is rotten. Stick to Rivals and Scout. They have Muniru at a 93 rating, and Hulls at an 87 rating. That'd put Hulls as the worst of both IU and Purdue's classes.

Rivers wasn't even a top 150 kid in HS, and then was the 8th man in the rotation at G'town. You make fun of Kramer's scoring, Rivers averaged 2.5 points last year and 1.3 his freshman year. No way Rivers is a top 150 kid.

Give me a group of proven winners of a group of unknowns.

He is good, just not the best, especially as a prospect.
