Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

"even though he isnt the best player in the state"

sure dan. quite the compliment
He is good, just not the best, especially as a prospect.
and you know this how?
Its my opinion. I'm entitled to it.

Hulls is good, not great. He has limitations athletically and height wise.
yet LowIQJack at 5'1 is the second coming of Tiny Archibald.

face it, turdue and Porkchop wanted Hulls badly and he gave them the Heisman. as did Elston. Turdue and Porky are going to be getting a lot of that in coming years.

Hope you like leftovers. We know Triple Chin obviously does

And Byrd, Bade, Robinson, Barlow, Jackson, Hummel, Moore, and Johnson gave IU the Heisman.

Never said Jackson was the second coming of Archibald, I said he'd start for four years for a nationally ranked team. How's that working out right now?

LOL, Purdue recruiting is going wonderfully. Just look at 2010.
“He’s always been a guy — maybe to a fault — he would always try to do what I said. That seems like something simple in coaching, but those are the guys I hang my hat on. We’ve had some guys in our program, we had a couple guys that felt I had a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. And they were right — I do have a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. I like guys that go to class, that are academic All-Americans, that come early, that stay late, that love the game of basketball. I am biased towards those guys. And I’m biased towards Rob Hummel. But I’m also biased towards their habits, their work ethic, and how they carry themselves."

turdue is winning in spite of lowIQJAckson not because of him.

he can't shoot and turns the ball over at crucial points. and he's 5'1 so he's a defensive liability with bigger guards.

yeah, sounds like a guard I really want.

thomas might be the best player in the state. Hulls and elston are the 2 best players in the senior class - and it isn't close.
And that shows that you know nothing.
Enlighten us all knowing one. Apparently you travel nonstop at the speed of light to catch every high school game in the state of Indiana. Since you are all knowing, please rank the top 5 current players(as in, how good are they right now) and the top 5 prospects regardless of class.
Top 5 seniors (not Mr Basketball rankings, who I think is best)

1. Elston
2. Byrd
3. Van Treese
T4. Hulls
T4. Bade

Regardless of class:

1. Ferguson
2. Thomas
3. Teague
4. Elston
5. Ryan Taylor

Again, my opinion. Whats your opinion?
I haven't seen enough high school basketball games to give an informed opinion on who the top 5 are. Even if I did, it's hard to say who is better because the talent varies so much. A very good player can look average because he plays on an inferior team. That's how guys sneak through the cracks a lot.

I happen to follow quite a bit of HS and AAU basketball, so I have an opinion. Is there a problem with that?

No problem with that, but I remember you saying before that a lot of your opinions are based on what certain AAU coaches/others think. To me, that's just ripping off someone else's opinion to make yourself sound smarter instead of making your own opinion. By follow, I'm assuming you mean reading box scores and watching a few games......that's another dangerous road to the answer of who is better than who.

And Byrd, Bade, Robinson, Barlow, Jackson, Hummel, Moore, and Johnson gave IU the Heisman.

link please
All were recruited by IU, Bade/Robinson/Barlow didn't have offers though. Hell, Sampson was making illegal phone calls to Hummel and Martin.

But since you said Hulls turned down Duke without an offer and only interest, that means the same can be said for Bade/Robinson/Barlow.

Moore
Johnson
Hummel
Jackson
Byrd
Robinson
Bade
Barlow

All with IU interest, all but 3 with offers.

A full game online in AAU ball. Part of another. A HS game on TV. Numerous clips.

And the scouting reports of scouts (which saw the same things I saw), other AAU coaches, and IU/Purdue recruiting analysts that follow Indiana basketball very carfully

More than you or Irish.

You are both just haters who think anything IU/ND is great, and everything Purdue is bad.
