Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

2009-2010 game what I was referencing to. At the Hall, we have a slim chance for a W.
You mean the other Hall right? UI plays in the Hall ;)

Its definitely possible. Its also possible that Purdue makes a Final Four this season.
Bite your tongue Cam, them's fightin' words....

Hey the Assembly Hall in Champagne was built first. :P

We’ve had some guys in our program, we had a couple guys that felt I had a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. And they were right — I do have a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. I like guys that go to class, that are academic All-Americans, that come early, that stay late, that love the game of basketball. I am biased towards those guys. And I’m biased towards Rob Hummel. But I’m also biased towards their habits, their work ethic, and how they carry themselves."

I just don't get why IU named both of their stadiums the same name as UI. It makes zero sense.

Hey, the so-called other Hall doesn't have 5 national title banners hanging from it.

I'm aware. It was a joke.

Assembly Hall-Bloomington is a much scarier place to play than Assembly Hall-Champagne (at least in the past).

It's cool. I knew you were just messing with us.

I think dUI is going to build a new stadium too. They need to; the lighting in there sucks.

for what it's worth, IU is going to build a new stadium too. well, they were before glass came, but i still wouldn't be surprised to see the successor going up in under 5 years. early plans have the stadium being modeled after the 'Q' in cleveland.

i dont know where i saw it (it was a while back), but the new practice facility is modeled after the Q's practice facility, and many of the preliminary designs for the new stadium are modeled after the q. also, the firm that IU hired to look into the building is the same one in charge of designing the Q.

wow that's crazy.

i wouldn't want a new stadium, but I have to admit, I hate the format of ours now. the balcony sucks balls, and if you are too high up in the lower level, it sucks too.

as long as they honor Bob Knight somehow and keep the traditions going, i wouldn't mind it too much.

the hall is a classic. i still get goosebumps when i walk into it. a new stadium would be nice -- it'd presumably add seats (which would alleviate the season ticket waiting list), rectify the student section problem, and create a better game experience.
