Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

The body knows what fighters don't: how to protect itself. A neck can only twist so far. Twist it just a hair more and the body says, "Hey, I'll take it from here because you obviously don't know what you're doing... Lie down now, rest, and we'll talk about this when you regain your senses." It's called the knockout mechanism.

You only need to call the Dems

Mitch McConnell and John McCain have the Senate Repubs 100% against it. Around 7 Senate Dems are currently against it.

Evan Bayh is a fence sitter on this one. He is up for re-election in 2010 so he is in leaning against. Most repubs are flat out against it. Bayh will be one like Olympia Snow that after some BS projects are taken out will claim Washingon worked in a Bi partianship manner and vote for it.

If not Filibustered it would pass the Senate as is say 52-47. I don't think Al Frank and beans has been seated yet. Then it would be a Dem bill with not one Rep vote in the House or Senate and the Dems are on the hook in the 2010 elections for this bill alone growing the nattional Debt by 10%.

this is true BG, but I think the more calls the republicans get, the more inclined they will be to fillibuster. That being said, I am sure that some of our resident libs on here are also against this crazy bill, so hopefully they are calling their rep also.

I find it troubling he is the only Republican Senator, strictly a right to lifer, who has performed abortions on women. His integrity dropped in my book for that, regardless of the circumstance.

Lucky i don't vote on social values.
