Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

Trouble, can I ask how much? There are several army shops here in Mexico and I'm wondering if it's cheaper the get something here or wait till I get back in the states. You don't have to say if you don't want to though.

Man, my wife came in the other day and said "Check out my new toy...12 3/4 inches long."

I think there are decency laws that won't let her carry it around, though.

well, the biggest problems with your wife carrying it around is that I do have to go to work eventually....can you imagine seeing her pulling me around by it all the time.....that would be a bit awkward

The body knows what fighters don't: how to protect itself. A neck can only twist so far. Twist it just a hair more and the body says, "Hey, I'll take it from here because you obviously don't know what you're doing... Lie down now, rest, and we'll talk about this when you regain your senses." It's called the knockout mechanism.

go to eknifeworks.com. they are in seiverville, TN and have thousands to choose from. this particular model was only $15. most everything they carry is under $75.
right above their search in the upper right hand corner is a drop down menu that says "pick a pattern." put in "tactical" if you want military issue/ fighting knives. heres the specs on this one:
Combat Ready™ Leatherneck Fighting Knife with Black Coated Tanto Blade $14.99

brand: Combat Ready™ CO038B
·Black coated stainless steel blade
·Stacked leather handle
·Black coated cast metal guard and end cap
·12-3/4" overall
·Leather belt sheath

i just about bought a SOG survival knife thats 15 3/4" total length. i was afraid id do more damage to myself than anything with a knife that long. it was only $70.
