Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

Q.) what steps need to be taken by paulson and bernecke to remedy this situation?

rogers- "well, paulson and bernecke should resign, is the first thing. they should abolish the federal reserve and stay out of the way...let the market take care of this. bernecke claims to be an expert on the great depression...he doesnt know what hes doing..."

this was put out in april, 2008. and even though gold, silver, and gas have fallen since then, the math percentages still works right to this day.

gold vs. dollar

Good stuff guys. I just wanted to make an appearance in this thread to encourage people to look at ALL of the stuff trouble and Old School have presented here. I am very busy today, but perhaps I can add my two cents later tonight. This is a really good thread, though.

Yeah, right. Just like Michael Jordan is closer to me, and Daniel Moore is closer to you.

what do you think lars? ive got so much shit up here, maybe its hard to digest. whats your thinking? i disagree with old school. i dont think you have the sense that rodgers does, let alone schiff, or faber.

start taking notes, nothing in your life right now could be more important than this thread. these are harbingers of the complete, total, economic collapse of this great country. WHAT COULD BE MORE IMPORTANT THAN THAT?

My reasoning for saying this is because he's more of an old-school monetarist than an Austrian, leading him to believe that if the Fed had printed more money during the bank runs of 1929 the Great Depression could have been avoided or at least softened. Upon second thought, however, you're right. You have no economic ideology, only that Fed = good and free markets = bad.

It was the comment regarding if the Fed had printed more money during the bank runs of '29 and the talking up of Friedman that led me to make this comparison. Upon second thought, though, you're right: Both Schiff and Rogers sound way more like me than they do Lars.

rogers isnt quite here, but hes close. he makes many good points. perhaps his history is flawed? i like what he says TODAY. at least in these 2 vid's.
who is the faber guy i just found today? hes my new man-crush. advance the spectrum 20 years in the future and give me a german accent and thats me. i soooo want to buy him a beer.
