| Welcome to Our Hoosier Board! Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions. Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful. Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine! A definition: Liquidity is when you look at your retirement funds and wet your pants! Important info on the Stimulus Payment "This year, taxpayers will receive an Economic Stimulus Payment. This is a Very exciting new program that I will explain using the Q and A format: "Q. What is an Economic Stimulus Payment? "A. It is money that the federal government will send to taxpayers. "Q. Where will the government get this money? "A. From taxpayers. "Q. So the government is giving me back my own money? "A. Only a smidgen. "Q. What is the purpose of this payment? "A. The plan is that you will use the money to purchase a high-definition TV set, thus stimulating the economy. "Q. But isn't that stimulating the economy of China? "A. Shut up." Some helpful advice on how to best help the US economy by spending your stimulus check wisely: If you spend that money at Wal-Mart, the money will go to China. If you spend it on gasoline it will go to the Arabs. If you purchase a computer it will go to India. If you purchase fruit and vegetables it will go to Mexico, Honduras, and Guatemala (unless you buy organic). If you buy a car it will go to Japan. If you purchase useless crap it will go to Taiwan. And none of it will help the American economy. We need to keep that money in America. You can keep the money in America by spending it at yard sales, going to a baseball game, or spend it on domestic beer , hookers or tattoos, since those are the only businesses still in the US. |

Somebody already posted this here. Surprising to see you post it though, considering you probably don't believe a lick of it, and if you do you forget it all when talking politics/voting. |

According to The Messiah, if we don't act fast, our economy will collapse, and be beyond repair. |

you guys do know that the ONLY way an economy collapses beyond repair is when 1) all natural resources essential to survival become extinct or 2) someone funnels the wealth/prosperity of those resources out of it's economy. |
![]() The body knows what fighters don't: how to protect itself. A neck can only twist so far. Twist it just a hair more and the body says, "Hey, I'll take it from here because you obviously don't know what you're doing... Lie down now, rest, and we'll talk about this when you regain your senses." It's called the knockout mechanism. | |
