Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

anybody in the 4th district that wants to do the same here's his washington number-202-225-5037.
i got through and got a secretary i assume. i urged him to vote against HR 256, and HR 262 commonly refered to as hate crimes, but more accurately "hate speech" bills on the grounds they violate the 1st amendment.
i also voiced my displeasure with HR 45, the gun control bill that ive been adamently against here. i urged him to vote against it on the grounds it violates the 2nd and 4th amendments. i left my name and address and urged him to vote against all 3. i feel such a rush!!!
i have read members of congress consider every 1 call, the opinion of 1000 voters because most people wont speak up. i have no idea if this is true. i heard it during the TARP discussions. if so, somebody else in the 4th who agrees with me, please call. fuck, everybody who agrees with me, CALL YOUR FUCKING CONGRESSMAN. goddamn it felt good to politely bitch to somebody about it.

I've contacted my representative 5 times already this year. I wholly support people getting in contact with their representatives and senators when they see fit, which should be early and often nowadays.

Don't just cll ur own call the sell outs like Arlon Spector and Susan Collins and a dem or two.

Let them know you might not be able to vote for them but you might contribute toward them in the 2010 election. Do a little research and target the 2010 Senators and the entire house.

yeah, not talking about you, per se. i do appreciate you doing the right thing. i just want to know where everybody stands. its one thing to argue here in anonyminity; its something else to actually call in and represent your views. mr. buyer is gonna get to know me very well in the coming days.
