Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

The 16th ranked team in the country puts up 33 points...........at home. A fluke you might say.....they scored 36 at WISC not too long ago......I think 50 against MINN. But you guys are right, college basketball as a whole isn't down.......it's WAYYYYY down. Let the mediocrity continue.

I'm definitely seeing the trend. Hell, even Northwestern is winning ball games over the rest of the Big 10.

But this is also one of the very few times in history that Northwestern has actually returned all its key players from the previous season.

Yeah, all the key guys from a 1-17 team in the BT last year. I forgot about all of those NW guys that went pro early. Stop embarassing yourself.....put the keyboard down.

One year of experience is enough to explain a five game improvement in standings. They were 1-17 last year and only have 5 wins so far this year.

Normally at the end of the year their best players either transfer or graduate. They are out of the tourney picture...but may be the best team in school history, for what that's worth.

Now resume your redundant posts without foundation or relevance.

When Illinois wins, Evil spouts how it shows that basketball is down because the Illini were horrible last year.
When they lose, he spouts how it shows that basketball is down as well because they are ranked.

So which is it?

NW is not a bad team. They have beat some pretty good teams, they beat FSU who is ranked.
PLus they play a style you dont see everyday.
