Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

He's hit the freshman wall. Simple as that.
and he has nobody even slightly resembling a big man around him; he needs some work on post positioning -- but what freshman is perfect?
I agree on both counts. Plus teams have seen him and he is one of the few IU players to key on.

I think he's going to be a good, not great, big man for IU for 3 more years. I'd take him.
my only concern is he looks like he might have a slight touch of the Downs.

Pritchards biggest problem is foul trouble, it seems like every big 10 game he has 3 fouls in the first half.

because there is no one else around him that is at least not a horrible post player, but i dont know, I think they need to let Lewis play more because he does have some natural athletic ability, he just needs more expierience to get down the pace and flow of a big ten basketball game

I understand that, but to claim him as Mr. Double Double and BTFOY after like 10 games and double doubles against mediocre to bad teams is a bit premature. I'm not sure if he even makes the All-Freshman team at this point.
The comical part is that UB was leading the chant for annoiting Pritchard. Most of us have perspective, something that the Fort Wayne vacationing Californias usually lack.

Pritchard is what he is...a useful player who right now isn't capable of beating talented, more experienced big men.

will LowIQJack make the all-Frosh team?

Its quite possible.
bad freshman class this year
Of course.

Jackson may make the All Defense team too. He'll make an all conference team next year.
PLEASE bet me that Lewis Jackson is on the all-defensive team.

I'm not saying it will happen, but he should and will be in the discussion. Unfortunately, the hype of Frazier/Kramer/Walton will more than likely keep him off. You apparently can't comprehend the word MAY.

I think he's been (and Painter has stated as much) our best defender for the better part of the season. He was the lead person guarding Battle into throwing up a giant goose egg. The only time Lucas did anything against us was when Jackson was on the bench throwing up into a plastic bag. He also spent time on Curry in the Davidson game.

“He’s always been a guy — maybe to a fault — he would always try to do what I said. That seems like something simple in coaching, but those are the guys I hang my hat on. We’ve had some guys in our program, we had a couple guys that felt I had a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. And they were right — I do have a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. I like guys that go to class, that are academic All-Americans, that come early, that stay late, that love the game of basketball. I am biased towards those guys. And I’m biased towards Rob Hummel. But I’m also biased towards their habits, their work ethic, and how they carry themselves."

I comprehend the word MAY fine. I'm am flat out saying he WON'T, therefore MAY isn't in the equation.

Sorry all knowing basketball master for noting that a good defensively player may be considered for all conference honors defensively.

Please take the time to bestow upon me your great basketball knowledge.

The first bit of knowledge is that running in front of a crowd is not synomymous with shooting free throws.

When that information has sunk in, we'll start with lesson #2.

In that case, lesson 2 won't happen until sometime in 2022

When you know something about competing at that level, get back to me.

Hmmmm..........kind of pointless when we are talking about basketball don't you think? I don't get my NFL analysis from John Wooden, my NBA analysis from Mario Lemiuex, and NCAA mens basketball from Pele'.

Playing a sport doesn't make you an expert.

See Larry Bird and Michael Jordan.
