  • Will You Root For Purdue In The NCAA's?
Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

Fuck no I wouldn't root for those Manure Sniffers.
“He’s always been a guy — maybe to a fault — he would always try to do what I said. That seems like something simple in coaching, but those are the guys I hang my hat on. We’ve had some guys in our program, we had a couple guys that felt I had a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. And they were right — I do have a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. I like guys that go to class, that are academic All-Americans, that come early, that stay late, that love the game of basketball. I am biased towards those guys. And I’m biased towards Rob Hummel. But I’m also biased towards their habits, their work ethic, and how they carry themselves."

I said yes because they represent the B10. I have always rooted for B10 teams in the big dance. But I will tell you what, if these obnoxious Purdue fans don't quit rubbing it in this year, I will definitely turn and start rooting for the other team. My nephew, who is a Purdue fan by the way, and I go and watch the tournament and drink beers together and I cheer right along with him, but it is starting to get very hard because these Purdue fans don't know when to stop. This season and the last 6 or 7 years have been really hard to endure, and they keep kicking us while we are down.
Boo fucking hoo.

You IU fans have effectively been given a pass by the Purdue fans on this board up until this week. The reason for the recent shit is obvious, after Saturday it will probably go back to the way it was.

There are, of course, Purdue fans that have taken delight in your problems this year, especially on other boards like GBI. They're mostly homers and while I disagree with much of the shit they talk, I can at least understand because they have to put up with the Peegs assholes that come over and throw banners in their face.

All I want is for the IU fans to remember this time a few years down the road when your program is back up to par and act accordingly. We were down, you are down. We got a good coach, you got a good coach. Our program is back, yours will be back. We remember the lean years, hope you do too.

I'm not trying to pick on you dedicated. With all your posts about the recruits I know you're chomping at the bit for next year to get here and for your program to resume it's rightful place in college basketball. Just realize that much of this venom that's being spewed is at the win-at-all-costs Sampsonites that threw shit in our faces when we were down. Take your lumps and before long it will be over.

Thanks for the plug Brum. My wife happens to like that about me. :vag:

God no, I want them to lose by some freak circumstance (like a last second half court shot) in the first round.

Yeah, but we know how hard it is for a small market to compete. Chicago's small too, right? Well, I know the White Sox don't have the same kind of capital that the Cubs do, so it's no wonder they can't win a title.

Wait a minute....oops.

i would probably root for purdue in the tourney, but the posts of some douche bags lately really make me want those individuals to feel the agony of defeat.

yes, i know there are some good purdue fans, but it's just a few of the jackasses on here and some of my asshole friends that make me want them to lose tragically in the first round by a full court shot or something.

However, I am a big ten fan, and would probably root for them unless they were up against another big ten team other than illinois.

Yes, money wins championships. Thats why the Yankees spend the most money every year and win the title every year also..........

Oh wait...
