| Welcome to Our Hoosier Board! Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions. Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful. Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine! RANT ON I always find it hilarious when IU and Purdue fans call each other out for talking about the positives of their school. Purdue Fan - "Keep talking about your banners. Were you even alive for the last one? IU sucks now." IU Fan - "You have a winning record against us and everyone in the Big Ten? Woopty do. You'll still never win the big one." Both fans talk about the positives of their own school. Every school has their own positives and every fan base does this. But every rival team always tries to belittle the other school's accomplishments. That's the funny part. So what if IU's banners are old? 95% of the schools in the country would like have them. So what if most of Purdue's wins against IU came 50 years ago? 95% of IU fans would love to talk about IU having a winning records against everyone in the Big Ten. What are fan bases supposed to do? Talk about something that makes sheds their school in a negative light? I can see it now. Purdue fan - "Purdue is AWESOME! We have never won a championship! Yay Purdue." Indiana fan - "Oh yeah? Well IU cheats AND we haven't done shit in 15 years except for a random Mike Davis run. So there!" Instead, Purdue fans make fun of IU fans for having old banners and IU fans make fun of Purdue fans for never winning the championship. But you know what? Every school can't own every record and every school has something to hang their hat on. So why try and make fun of another school for having an accomplishment of lesser importance? It'll never work, and the only reason each fan views the other school's accomplishment as worse is because it's not theirs. And more importantly, every school is pretty damn happy with their own accomplishments. I love IU's dusty old banners. Nothing a Purdue fan says is going to lessen the importance of those banners in my mind. Purdue fans love having bragging rights over everybody. Nothing I say would make them devalue that. So there's no point in trying to belittle either fan base. We're both totally in love with what our school's have done because they're OUR schools. In conclusion, I think it's hilarious when one fan base makes fun of the other one's accomplishments. RANT OFF |

Honestly, I've posted less and less lately because this board has been pissing me off. You all need to chill and act like you were 6 months ago when we knew it was going to be difficult this year. Some are nit-picking and saying they aren't bitching... but calling out players, Crean, yadda yadda. The shit takes time to build chemistry. Please, I mean I've never been one to rush perfection... But fuck, drink a beer. List the positives you see in the young guys, let them grow to learn to play IU ball. Negativity can fuck with some people, don't think this board and other places are invisible. You guys just need to chill out and face reality. UB especially, you've gotten quite childish. This is your realization, we have ONE big ten win and the youngest team in the nation. That must mean something. Which is what I'm preaching. Until then, this site will rest with the nit-pickers :loser: |

I like to fuck with Unbathed from time to time to make the day go by quicker. But in reality, my view is nothing matters unless it puts points on the scoreboard or puts a digit in the "W" column for this year. Purdue's series leads mean little. IU's accomplishments from Konvict era mean little. |

Disagree. IU's accomplishments mean a lot...to IU fans. Purdue's series lead means a lot, to Purdue fans. That why it's ridiculous that people try and compare them at all. My cat means a lot to me, but do you give a fuck about him? |

Good post dreach. This is exactly the way I see it. I bet Indiana State is damn proud of that 1979 season as well, and they didn't even win the title. |

Okay, I can see your point. I'm just saying that I don't really "take pride" in anything that's happened in the past. But I totally believe in honoring and remembering the players and coaches for their accomplishments. I respect them on what they brought...but I guess it just doesn't mean as much to me as it does some. |

I completely agree with what you say. I don't use my sports' team's accomplishments as a reason for being knowledgeable. Some people cannot comprehend that. |

“He’s always been a guy — maybe to a fault — he would always try to do what I said. That seems like something simple in coaching, but those are the guys I hang my hat on. We’ve had some guys in our program, we had a couple guys that felt I had a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. And they were right — I do have a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. I like guys that go to class, that are academic All-Americans, that come early, that stay late, that love the game of basketball. I am biased towards those guys. And I’m biased towards Rob Hummel. But I’m also biased towards their habits, their work ethic, and how they carry themselves." "I’d take him to the ends of the earth — I’d want him playing for me.” - Bo Ryan on Robbie Hummel

Outside of this board, no one likes to fuck with UB. At least the non-paid women don't. |

Maybe that's because Purdue's mens team doesn't really have impressive national accomplishments. |

Well, you are an IU fan, who has impressive national accomplishments, and you are an idiot. The theory of rooting for a team that has won so that makes you know this or that about winning is absurd and stupid. When fans realize that their rooting interest has no control over the games, following sports will be a lot more enjoyable. |

It would be nice if you actually used knowledge as a reason for being knowledgable. Comprehend that. |

Yeah, I think I'm knowledgable because IU has more NCs than Purdue has Final Fours......you are dumb. How much longer will you continue to disgrace yourself on this board? |
