Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

I like to fuck with Unbathed from time to time to make the day go by quicker.
Outside of this board, no one likes to fuck with UB. At least the non-paid women don't.
Paid women don't like to either...but they still gotta pay the bills somehow...

Really, IU fans should be happy with their past and should celebrate it at their own free will.

But what makes the situation so funny is that they continuously expect other fanbases to be impressed and/or jealous of their past accomplishments...such as showcasing the banners in EVERY one of their BigTenNetwork commercials, etc.

The Dukes and UCLA's of the world are showcasing their current teams, players and coaches...and tend to sparingly boast of their banners. IU, meanwhile, is always trying to direct everyone's attention to the banners.

Just because Purdue Doesnt have anything, Oh wait no one cares about Purdue

Id rather stare at those banners for a day than watch brokeback Hummel try to grab a rebound

Really... Well I just went onto the UCLA website and at the top was this story from ESPN

http://sports.espn.go.com/travel/news/story?id=3905280

then went to Kentucky's website they have their banner listed at the top left of the website

Duke list their championships at the top of their website

http://www.goduke.com/SportSelect.dbml?DB_OEM_ID=4200&KEY=&SPID=1845&SPSID=22724

So your right Indiana is the only one that boast about their banners...... :sarcasm:

Good for you! But if you think that impresses me you would be sadly mistaken.

You obviously missed the point. Of course they do...but not near as much as IU. If you get the FSN's for their regions, watch their commercials during their games, and compare these commercials to yours.

And you might also notice that these programs have changed to keep up with the times. IU team is still wearing the same unis (including the gay warmups) they were 35 years ago.

"Brokeback Hummel"? ahhhh nice touch ::finger::

btw, UCLA lost today. Maybe if Purdue great John Wooden was still at the helm, the outcome may have been different.

it's called tradition.... something purdue wouldn't know about. and those "gay" warmups have been worn by national champions. so suck it.

Haha. Everyone absolutely loves IU's warmups. I don't know of another program in the country where the warmups are so popular and wanted by everyone in the fan base.

Yes we get it, you're better than us.

You can all stop now every Purdue fan understands that we will always been seen as a pee stain on college basketball to you guys.

No point to talk shit to one another, IU doesn't deserve it anymore than we do.

the guy was taking jabs at iu. what's wrong with taking jabs at purdue? and i would consider purdue as more of a shit stain rather than a pee stain.

It's fine to take jabs at one another. A little ribbing is a good thing.

It just seems that so many of you (IU and Purdue fans alike) want to make others feel bad for rooting their team.

At the end of the day what does it matter who you root for? We are all basketball fans and we all share a love of the game. Joking and ribbing is fine but you people just get vicious sometimes :P .

It's all good fun. Pickett and dreach are cool. Some of the fans on this board can't take a jab nor give a decent one...but I don't see anything wrong with what these two said.
