Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

IU played very hard ans I am sorry Purdue did not respect IU and a horrible game. IU IMO desreved the win Purdue did not play hard or with passion. I am sorry that we had some attitude and didn't show you the respect IU desrves.

My hat is off to IU on the effort today. I am being serious you guys showed heart today.

How to Prevent Hangover:

# Sleep. Rest is your best friend at this point to give your body a recover. It is best to stay in bed so call in to work if you have to, tell them you have the stomach flu. You will sound so horrible on the phone they may believe you (unless they saw you at the bar, not a good idea then).
# Replenish your body with fruit juice and water.
# Avoid caffeine. A weak cup of coffee may be okay but a lot of caffeine will continue to dehydrate you, the opposite of what you want right now.
# Drink orange juice for Vitamin C.
# Drink a sports drink like Gatorade or Powerade.

Trouble we still beat IU but I was really upset with the effort. Purdue use to be about effort not talent today it was Purdue with the talent and IU had the effort. if we matched ur heart we would have rolled. I can't believe the team was not fired up to play against IU. Maybe some of you guys are right and the rivalry I grew up on is dead. We got the W but a team should not play sloppy in lat Feb

Fail.

I'm guessing Hummeled has something to do with being on a nationally ranked team and being a 1st team All B10 player last year, and the most important player on a damn good team.

“He’s always been a guy — maybe to a fault — he would always try to do what I said. That seems like something simple in coaching, but those are the guys I hang my hat on. We’ve had some guys in our program, we had a couple guys that felt I had a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. And they were right — I do have a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. I like guys that go to class, that are academic All-Americans, that come early, that stay late, that love the game of basketball. I am biased towards those guys. And I’m biased towards Rob Hummel. But I’m also biased towards their habits, their work ethic, and how they carry themselves."

"I’d take him to the ends of the earth — I’d want him playing for me.” - Bo Ryan on Robbie Hummel

Dcum is so fucking lame........pin this thread now.

They just beat us, yet he is still pissed becaused, even in defeat, we win with the addition of "got Hummeled" to our arsenal. This is totally fucking classic. :owned:

You do realize no one in this thread coined the term "you got hummeled"

They said that on CBS sportsline over a year ago in the headlines when Purdue won in Madison.

They said one team got pummeled
Wisconsin got Hummeled...

nice try though

You got beat on the court, but you win because you come up with a phrase.....and dc is pissed about that...... Turns out it isn't even a new phrase as BB2008 points out......so I guess we win that too ? Really, really sad how you're grasping for for something to call a win.

For someone who claims to be 30 something you act awful 12 something to me.
