Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

I thnk also that the DePauw men's AND women's team would give IU a tough battle.

Well if history is correct, Purdue will lose in the FF.

Is there a "none of the above" selection? If UI, UK and PU are left in the dance til the final four, I just simply wouldn't watch the FF. I don't see any of the 3 teams nearing FF status anytime soon though.

Do you think IU will? What are your reasons for thinking those teams won't?
“He’s always been a guy — maybe to a fault — he would always try to do what I said. That seems like something simple in coaching, but those are the guys I hang my hat on. We’ve had some guys in our program, we had a couple guys that felt I had a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. And they were right — I do have a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. I like guys that go to class, that are academic All-Americans, that come early, that stay late, that love the game of basketball. I am biased towards those guys. And I’m biased towards Rob Hummel. But I’m also biased towards their habits, their work ethic, and how they carry themselves."

PU, but in the UI-UK game I would root for some sort of natural disaster to take out both teams.

PU over everyone. If they are not playing, then the Big Ten team.
PU and UI are both in the Big Ten...

I don't think UK will, but PU and UI have a decent shot.

Illinois has the number 8 and number 2 recruiting classes in the nation being added to their already young and "ranked" team. I think they will be very good for a couple of years to come.

I haven't heard much about PU's recruiting classes, but they are pretty good and pretty young now, so it is not out of the question.

And this post is a bit unrealistic ... because PU hasn't been to a Final Four for 29 years so ... the odds are against them, aren't they????

Odds of making a FF change from year to year depending on the specific team. As for chance to make it to the final four that is the same as a roulette wheel, the wheel has no memory it can hit black 25x in a row which odds wise is close to insanely impossible but it does, just like the wheel the FF has no memory a number that has not hit in 29 years could hit on any roll.

I think my zoomies would beat IU this year. IU is simply terrible.
Is that you, "ZoomieFan?"

UI vs. PU - i am hoping the Space Station falls out of space and levels the building they are playing in

UI vs. UK - Kentucky. After IU, Kentucky is my next favorite college team (my family tree was grown in the blue grass state)

PU vs. UK - same as above.
