Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

I'm not sure I'd go that far yet. Especially considering how horried they are. If the Bulls could get into the playofs, I think Rose will be hard to dethrone. Mayo having a good year as well, but they are also horrid. However, he's definitely in the discussion now, and considering he didn't even play for the first couple of weeks, I think that's pretty damn impressive.

Mayo being in the shit hole that is Memphis is sad. Same with EJ, but at least he has some semblance of talent around him.
“He’s always been a guy — maybe to a fault — he would always try to do what I said. That seems like something simple in coaching, but those are the guys I hang my hat on. We’ve had some guys in our program, we had a couple guys that felt I had a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. And they were right — I do have a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. I like guys that go to class, that are academic All-Americans, that come early, that stay late, that love the game of basketball. I am biased towards those guys. And I’m biased towards Rob Hummel. But I’m also biased towards their habits, their work ethic, and how they carry themselves."

No love for Nate Robinson burying the Pacers? 41 points and 8 boards. 31 points in the 2nd half for the come from behind win. Why on earth is Chris Duhon starting over him?

I'm fairly certain that a few people on this board could score 15-20 on the Pacers. Talk about horrendous defense.

Robinson can explode for points, but PG is important in Dantoni's scheme. Duhon has been pretty effective this year, and makes better decisions than Robinson. Robinson is in essence a 5'8-5'9 2 guard.

I don't follow Duhon's career, but just a quick glance at the numbers suggest Robinson is the MUCH better option. Duhon's assist/turnover ration is 1.23. Robinson is at 2.35. Neither is sparkling, but come on. 1.23? That's pretty bad. Plus, Robinson rebounds the basketball. Over his last 6 game he's averaging 28 points, 7 rebounds, 6.5 assists, 1.3 turnovers and 2 steals a game. And the guy is a backup! Not to mention his field goal percentage is excellent for a PG while Duhon is shooting under 43% for the year. I understand Dantoni needs the offense run, but on the Knicks Robinson IS the offense. If he played 40 min/game his numbers would be among the best in the entire league.

EDIT: I made a mistake on Duhon's assist/turnover ratio. It's at 2.7. Much more respectable. I accidentally did rebound/turnover ratio. ^_^

Duhon's TOs are up because he handles the ball so much. Plus, he's trying to get shots for average talent. I wouldn't say Robinson is the offense. He's a part of it, but Harrington/Duhon/Lee are all as important.

Robinson only plays 30 minutes a night for a reason. At 5'9, he's a defensive liability. He also shoots 5 3s a game while only shooting at a 33% clip. He is still relatively young and needs to learn how to make better decisions.

You sure are good at lying. My opinion is well documented, it had nothing to do with being a "bust".

Hey UB, when is IU going to sign that contract with Pitino?

Look I can make a comment without having to lie about it.

gulpingboiler, making a prediction is far far different than making up lies like Danielle does.

learn the difference. now stand down.

lol

You talked about your "inside sources", and that Pitino was all but signed, sealed, and delivered. You are a complete fraud.
