Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

I don't do shit for lent.

As for it being difficult for UB to not demean Purdue, no it won't. He'll say something like "Purdue suck" and then he'll say it's not demeaning, it's just the truth.
Not saying "Turdue" for 40 days will guarantee him a window seat in heaven.

not sure that is part of the deal. that is their moniker

I consider 'turdue' - kinda like how Archie Bunker considered 'Meathead'

Even though most of your destinys have already been pre-ordained (i.e. heading 'south' after death) what will you do to observe the Season of Lent?
Speaking of Hell....how is Fort Wayne? And your mom?

I am probably one of the least religious people around. I haven't gone to church since I was 4 and I feel like I am much better off because of it. I know that's not the case for everyone.

For some reason, I really enjoy doing lent and things like that...not for God, just as a self-test. I am going to focus on not wearing my mood on my sleeve at work and being patient with the slow-ass gov't program personnel. So upon further reflection, it's kinda selfish because I am doing these things because I feel it will help my career... heh

Oh side note: Some itunes radio station just played the Jurassic Park theme...earned itself a favorite in the process
