Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

I've paid a lot of attention to that case. I get about 3 hours of ESPN radio a day while driving, and I'm constantly reading on ESPN, so I'm sure I know as much about it as you do BG. Admittedly, that's probably not saying much.

Look, there's no point in arguing you guys like the Colts so you can go with the whole innocent until proven guilty bullshit. If it was another player on another team though, I'm sure you'd be ready to hang him.

Personally, if a prosecutor says she thinks he did, but have conflicting testimonies that won't jive in court, then i'm going to take her word for it. I'm sure it's not hard for marvin to get somebody to lie for him. Look at Bonds' trainer Anderson.

The guy who reported the case is being prosecuted for giving false reports. The only thing that the prosecutor has said is that she is certain Harrison's gun has been fired, and she thinks she knows who it is without evidence.

How do you know who it is without evidence. She's even said she's heard 9 different stories about what happened.

But thats great, bash a guy for doing something that you have no evidence of him doing. If he shot someone and there was evidence, I'd be the first person to hope he went to jail and wasn't playing for the Colts.
“He’s always been a guy — maybe to a fault — he would always try to do what I said. That seems like something simple in coaching, but those are the guys I hang my hat on. We’ve had some guys in our program, we had a couple guys that felt I had a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. And they were right — I do have a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. I like guys that go to class, that are academic All-Americans, that come early, that stay late, that love the game of basketball. I am biased towards those guys. And I’m biased towards Rob Hummel. But I’m also biased towards their habits, their work ethic, and how they carry themselves."

Just saying from evreyone I've heard there's not much doubt that she thinks he did it, and she knows more about it then I do, so I believe her. And don't make him out to be a saint. We all know it was his gun, so he violated the law either way. It's just a matter as to what extent.

There's no doubt, yet no evidence. Interesting.

How do these people know these things without evidence?

Liberal, I love on a fucking farm. Hahahahahahahahahaha

And I know it's not illegal to own a gun. But when your gun is shot and it hurts someone in Philly, you could still be charged for that.

Even with evidence, what about reasonable doubt? Remember OJ?

She probably has evidence that believes is credible, but obviously the defense will call up the 9 different clowns with different stories and there's no chance the jury will charge someone under those circumstances.

“I’m comfortable saying that Mr. Harrison’s gun fired those bullets,” Abraham said. “I’m not prepared to say who fired the gun. … I’m pretty comfortable that I know who fired the gun, but I’m not going to say because I don’t have evidence.”

She has no evidence. She has a guess, that proves absolutely nothing.

I think Obat isright thought that it's still illegal to have your gun used in an attempted murder no matter who fired it.

Look we can sit here and argue all day, and of course you can't lock him up for good without hard evidence.

However, when I look at this case I see a person who owns a custom made Belgium gun in Marvin Harrison. Marvin gets in a fight at a bar in Philadelphia that he owns. Then later that same custom made Belgium gun shoots six bullets out of it that the casings match up with. Then Marvin and his people say that he wasn't involved and that his gun wasn't used. Obviously that was a lie since the ballistics tests proved otherwise. When I look at all of the facts of the case, and I see someone who has alreay lied, then it's very hard for me to believe that he didn't do it. You think he got into a fight with someone and then went and grabbed one of his buddies and said here's my gun go shoot that guy. Let's use a little common sense here. Will he ever get convicted....probably not. In the 3rd district in New Orleans less than 1/16 murderers are convicted before the 60-day holding period is reached. But that doesn't mean he shouldn't be.
