Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

Agreed, but had they lost then everyone would have said that Purdue lost to a MAC team on a neutral field. Would have been untrue because the field wasn't neutral.
True.

Fortunately, nobody would have noticed or cared, including one of the teams playing the game. The talent of that team always overshadowed the production. It was kind of sad really.
Just went along with my thoughts that Joe was not a good coach and his recruiting worsened as the years went on.

I think he was a solid coach, he just got worn out. That '05 team took it out of him, that made recruiting slip, energy left the program, and he had his foot out the door for a few years. Very similar to Keady.

Lets hope that Hope can bring some new energy to football. I think there's some talent in place, especially defensively and on the O-line. We just need to get it out of the guys. The skilled guys from FL could really make a difference.
“He’s always been a guy — maybe to a fault — he would always try to do what I said. That seems like something simple in coaching, but those are the guys I hang my hat on. We’ve had some guys in our program, we had a couple guys that felt I had a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. And they were right — I do have a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. I like guys that go to class, that are academic All-Americans, that come early, that stay late, that love the game of basketball. I am biased towards those guys. And I’m biased towards Rob Hummel. But I’m also biased towards their habits, their work ethic, and how they carry themselves."

"I’d take him to the ends of the earth — I’d want him playing for me.” - Bo Ryan on Robbie Hummel

March is going to be insane!!!!

I don't think anyone wants to be #1.
When is March not insane.

Favorite time of the year for me.
It usually is, but this year seems to be a deeper year of college basketball. More high quality teams than usual.
huh?

please define "quality"

dcum is confusing 'competitive' with 'quality'
I've only read the first page of this thread so far, and people are already showing how clueless they are. I hope they realize PITT was down HUGE in this game, and Providence pretty much let them back in it. Yet another top 6 team getting beaten by an unranked team, and Providence was only a few minutes away from having a blowout win over the 'top' team in the country.

I'm going to read the rest of this thread, I'm sure there is plenty of comedy on the way.
