Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

Can videos be embedded to Power Point any way? Like a youtube video ?

I didn't think so... Could be wrong.

We're doing a cross-art thematic presentation for Senior English. I have to pick a topic, then use 3 art forms that represent that topic, and elaborate on how each one puts a different/and or similar spin to it.

Right now I'm thinking of either doing stem cell, Hoosier basketball, or marijuana legalization.

A little help would be great. The presentation only HAS to be 3 mins, which is cake and the Power Point won't take me but under an hour.

Oh, and the 3 art forms can be like a video, movie, book, poem, picture, quote, magazine article... etc.

You can link the video to your powerpoint and then click on the link in class (assuming you have internet access) and the video will play.

The other option is that any picture, video, etc. that you try to show in powerpoint MUST be on the harddrive of the computer you are using to show the presentation. In other words. You can't copy/paste a pic from the internet into your presentation and then email it to someone or take it to class on a USB. You'll be able to see the pic on the computer you made the presentation on, but when your friend opens powerpoint or when you open it from your USB in class, the pic won't be there.

Hope that helps.

Well fuck... our school has youtube blocked so I doubt I'll be able to use the link. I was hoping I'd be able to do it with a flash drive and what not from PP.

Thanks for the info Dreach.. gay I cannot use the video directly though!

0305-

Hit the 'add reply' button and at the bottom of the message box and you'll see a place to browse for a file and then attach. Up to 200kb I think.
