Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

Seriously, Evil, quit living in the past. Who cares if you think that college basketball is down? There have been tons of games this year in the Big Ten and out that have been fun to watch. Isn't that what makes us fans of the game???

This has to be the longets running discussion on the board. Spread through multiple threads over the course of an immense amount of time.

If you guys ever want to complete this discussion you need to first agree on how to quantify the quality of college basketball. Examples:

Viewership?
Attendance?
Average scoring?
FG%?
Records?
Quality of the top 10 teams?
Quality of the best teams in each conference?

The point here is that I can think college basketball is UP because the increased parity makes more competetive and exciting games. Evil can think college basketball is DOWN because the increased parity means the best teams in the nation aren't as good as they used to be. If we both agree that there is increased parity in college basketball, then both of our arguments are correct. So before you argue the quality of college basketball as whole, try and figure out HOW you are going to measure the quality of college basketball in the first place.
I just wasted 30 seconds reading that. :P

I also believe that college basketball is UP. More enjoyable and for that matter the parity has to do with more talent going to lesser known schools. I honestly never in my life thought I'd see a West Virginia Basketball team with a recruiting class in the top 20 overall. Yet this last year that happened(Im using WVU because I grew up in West Virginia and still visit at least twice a year). I also believe that players are getting more and more athletic and that also adds to the parity. Also evil your question of asking how the top whatever players in this years college basketball would stack up to any over the last 20 years we wouldn't know. There is no real answer to what a player might or might not do in the NBA.

super easy...it's all about just heating the ingredients in a pan, and reducing it down for about 35-40 minutes.

Agree. I love Mexican food but mole is horrible. So is horchata.

BTW, anyone ever make homemade tamales? Talk about a project.

Mole sauce is good. Brum homemade Tamales are out of this world. I could eat those all day long but yes agree the production process is alot of work.
