Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

If you have a chance to try out Windows 7, the RC is available for public download.

It's faster than XP and Vista and more user friendly as well.

XP < Vista < Windows 7.
Vista's better than XP? Unless you're easily amused with graphics, Vista is junk for businesses.

bri, you'll have to reformat and install windows 7 cleanly to get a good experience out of it.
you'll lose all your data and programs if you do this

i never used vista, so i can't really say anything about it, but i always enjoyed xp. it was fast and simple

that's what she said. i'm not even a windows user, and i can say that Vista was far better than XP. vista got a bad wrap because it didn't hold your hand like XP.

...it's the complete opposite. Vista is XP loaded down with graphic enhancements and security features.

I don't know about for business but I LOVE Vista home version. Much smoother, better organized, enhanced search functions, etc. Much improved over XP IMO.

I have to agree that I prefer Vista. I have it at home and have been nothing but happy with it. It got such a bad reputation when it was released early and has been in a negative light ever since. I am looking forward to trying out 7.

XP is still the way to go for business though, no sense switching everyone to Vista when 7 is just around the corner...just my opinion.
