Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

I don't think its Lars' bias towards the Republican party that is most unsettling, but his bias for the Federal Reserve and fiat currency.

Brumdog: "In terms of the McCain/Obama vote, I don't see the GOP's budget as being much different"

So I posted a plot showing recent spending and The Messiah's proposed budgets, and Brum blamed it on "The Heritage Foundation being a conservative organization." Starting a new poll is a lame attempt to obfuscate the fact that Brum was thoroughly owned on that topic.

Regarding the poll, Brum is doing a nice job kissing up to the Paulites to get votes, but claiming to be a "domestic liberal" and Ron Paul supporter proves that you are more confused than Bush 43:

Idiotic is believing that the CFR and other secret groups are plotting to destroy the U.S. On second thought, there is some truth in it because many rich, elitists who wield a great deal of power don't believe free men have the skill and knowledge and make good decisions, and improve the state of our lives. These elitists cross party lines, and want more money and control, and do it in the name of making the world a better place. Some of them truly believe their rhetoric, and some are dishonest.

So no, there's no "conspiracy" because it would be impossible to keep something that large and complex secret. But elitists are almost as dangerous, IMO, and now that they have support from many of the world media sources, god help us all.

Need a tissue, Lars? Still not answering in terms of the 850 billion dollar shift, I see.

The people have spoken, Lars. You're a partisan hack. You don't see me starting post after post condemning one political party, which is basically your mantra here.

And it doesn't matter what I say anyway, does it? If I agree with the Obama budget, you call me a liar. If I don't and say that I believe that Ron Paul has it right, you call me a liar. So it's not about budget, it's about your everlasting love of the republican party. You want to call yourself a fiscal conservative, but the one man in your party who actually is one you bitch about and say his supporters are 'kooks.'

Brum, you could post a poll on just about anything on this board and Lars would lose since he pretty much disagrees with everyone to some degree on almost every subject. You could ask who is a better baseball player, who had better grades in middle school, who is most likely to dress like a school girl and have his wife spank him.....etc etc, and Lars would probably come up on the losing end of the poll.

Basically, this poll is invalid, and you really didn't address Lars' chart showing a significant increase in debt even if you take 2009 out of the equation.

.....side note....I personally think that sirbrian is the most likely dress like a school girl

The body knows what fighters don't: how to protect itself. A neck can only twist so far. Twist it just a hair more and the body says, "Hey, I'll take it from here because you obviously don't know what you're doing... Lie down now, rest, and we'll talk about this when you regain your senses." It's called the knockout mechanism.

aaron, there is a reason that Lars disagrees with everyone.

It's because he's a partisan hack.

Sorry, that's not more confusing than someone claiming to be a fiscal conservative and a republican.

But I guess my secret plan of 'kissing up to the Paulites' for the past few months in order to win a poll that I didn't know I'd make worked like a charm, huh? :sarcasm:

And it doesn't matter what I say anyway, does it? If I agree with the Obama budget, you call me a liar. If I don't and say that I believe that Ron Paul has it right, you call me a liar.
On the other thread I wrote "First of all, Brum, why in the fuck are you only looking at 2009? You can blame all politicians for that year, but things get really ugly the next few years.".

I've already addressed the fiscal crisis and said there's plenty of blame to go around. You're the one who ignored a simple chart that shows how The Messiah's spending plans are out of control, something that makes "domestic liberals" like you happy, and Ron Paul supporters furious.
When you admit you are a "domestic liberal" and aren't critical of B.O. spending plans, you are 180 degrees out of phase with Ron Paul. Yet you said you might vote for him.

I've offered many opinions on different issues and like Aaron said, piss everyone off at one time or another. Instead of staying on topic and addressing many issues, you will either attempt to marginalize the information source, or paint me as Rush Limbaugh or a partisan hack.

This board was more interesting and productive back in the days when you were still pouting because Brian and Jazen jumped off the Sampson bandwagon before you, and started this site. I enjoyed discussing opposing view points in a respectful way, but you immediately went for the Rush Limbaugh and KKK insults. It's obvious you weren't trying to be funny, but were making personal attacks. I can see how you have too much anger inside by trying to reconcile opposing internal views like being a "domestic liberal" and Ron Paul supporter.

And I don't need to paint you as anything. You've had the brush the whole time.

Bump to see how Brum can explain that statement besides blaming the chart on partisan hacks like me and the Heritage Foundation.

So you're saying that McCain/Bush/Any Republican are all created equal when it comes to spending?
