  • $134 billion in US bonds seized
Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

Another one being ignored by the MSM....probably the most important news story out there right now. This story has two scenarios.

1) Some government entity is trying to offload US treasuries silently before their value tanks....or
2) There is a network of counterfeit bonds, which in order to pull off successfully must include government or reserve accomplices.

The body knows what fighters don't: how to protect itself. A neck can only twist so far. Twist it just a hair more and the body says, "Hey, I'll take it from here because you obviously don't know what you're doing... Lie down now, rest, and we'll talk about this when you regain your senses." It's called the knockout mechanism.

I'm not sure how you came to either conclusion; but the damage was done when these bonds were initially printed. Who cares who has them now? Whoever has those bonds aren't going to get their money out of them. And their value was determined a long time ago; they're not worth shit, they never were.
Since I entered politics, I have chiefly had men’s views confided to me privately. Some of the biggest men in the United States, in the field of commerce and manufacture, are afraid of somebody, are afraid of something. They know that there is a power somewhere so organized, so subtle, so watchful, so interlocked, so complete, so pervasive, that they had better not speak above their breath when they speak in condemnation of it.

scoutin, do you have a clue what you are talking about? If those bonds are legit, they aren't worthless at all. If they are counterfeit and they have been able to be cashed in the past, then we have a problem there also.

No, I don't. But when has that become a prerequisite to post here? In any event, I'd love to be at the bank while those guys try to do anything with bonds of that denomination -- they aren't leaving that bank with any money.

Fortunately it's not, or Brian and Jazen would have to shut this place down.
