"President Barack Obama’s strict ban on lobbyist contributions will limit the haul from Thursday night’s fundraising dinner for congressional Democrats, but organizers have found a way around it: a morning-after event at the same hotel where lobbyists — and their money — will be welcomed with open arms."
Change, errr...... cash we can believe in.

I don't see why everyone is so surprised by the things Obama has done. Change we can believe in........ Right! The only thing this administration cares about is your money and how they can get their hands on it. 50 cents out of every dollar we spend for the foreseeable future will be borrowed. Please don't any one tell Obama what comes after a TRILLION. He makes is sound like petty cash. Be afraid, be very afraid.

In my case anyway, it isn't about blanket opposition of democrats, it is about any politician deceiving the public into voting for him under false pretences.
If you understood what Obama was for and voted for him because you agree with his true big government, entitlement state, very liberal views, than congratulations. I, however, believe that the majority of his voters were doing so for "change" that they believed in, but as I said throughout the election, Obama does not represent a "change" in direction, rather an acceleration in the same direction. I don't think that the "change" voters wanted that.

The body knows what fighters don't: how to protect itself. A neck can only twist so far. Twist it just a hair more and the body says, "Hey, I'll take it from here because you obviously don't know what you're doing... Lie down now, rest, and we'll talk about this when you regain your senses." It's called the knockout mechanism.

I agree that the people on this board were voting for change, but a vast number of people voted for Obama because he told them exactly what they wanted to hear or they were told who to vote for, and had really no clue who the man was or what he stood for. The RAPID movement in this county toward socialism should scare people half to death but the fact of the matter is we are moving that way with very little public outcry.

The same kids who loved "group projects" in school because they knew they could slack off and depend on someone else are now voting in droves for this crap. The thing is, the consitution as it sits doesn't allow for this to happen, but that seems not to matter any more.
