| Welcome to Our Hoosier Board! Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions. Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful. Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine! Well... that should be good for the Republican party... as long as nothing horrible comes out on why she stepped down. |

She added that she was tired of what she described as "superficial, wasteful, political bloodsport." She was treated horribly by the MSM. But now she's damaged goods, and it's better for the Repub party to have her helping from the sideline. |

Personally, I dislike Palin, but she could be helpful supporting the right candidate. I'd love to vote for a very fiscally conservative Republican candidate that stands towards the middle on social issues. If that's the case, I think her support would help garner some of the right-wing social conservatives, which would be needed to win an election. |

Sadly, she has more experience than B.O., but I think we've discussed that a time or two before. |

I dont like or dislike Palin, but you guys let me know when you see the MSM and the GOP ride and harrass a liberal woman politician and her family the way the Palin's have been treated........I'll be waiting. I cant remember Hillary and that ugly red-headed daughter (forgot her name) ever getting the negative press that this woman and her family has............coincidence? |

Is anyone else continuing to follow this story? I don't want to, but i can't help it. I guess it's like how some people are with the Michael Jackson thing, or the Princewss Di thing back in the day, is how i am with this story. Personally, i think she was trying to take a calculated risk, and i think her and camp badly misplayed it. There is no doubt in my mind that she quit to make it easier to line up a run at the Presidency in 2012 and just bungled it. First, she was stepping down because it was "what was best for Alaska." I don 't really understand that of course considering that she isn't involved in some kind of scandal. Then is was that, plus the media treating her unfairly. Now it is both of those, plus a David Letterman joke about her daughter. C'mon Sarah. Why don't you just come out and say that you don't think you will be able to accomplish anything of substance in your last year and a half in office, so you are going to step down so you can begin preparing for your national campaign. Or at the very least, make your announcement then go away for awhile. You keep trotting out yourself and your lawyer to talk to the media and you end up making yourself look worse. All these excuses she is coming up with just make her look like a quitter. Who wants to vote for a quitter. I think it is going to cost her some support. She will be a big player in the primary if she does indeed run, but this will hurt her. Especially i think among moderates and men, because it makes her look weak. Anyway, now that i have that off my chest maybe i can ignore the stories that pop up about her now. |

Katie Couric is a creampuff and without any effort made Palin look foolish. Couric even gave her opportunities in the second interview to amend or clarify what she had stated in her first interview, and Palin looked even worse. You can whine about the MSM all you want, but if you can't handle Couric you shouldn't be allowed in Washington DC, much less the White House. Palin was nothing more than a failed, flawed, desperate VP choice from a desperate campaign. |

does that really have anything to do with the way her family has been treated? Bad VP choice........sure, did she and her family deserve the treatment they have got.......no fucking way. Nixon didnt receive the bad press this woman and her family received and he actually did something that mattered. Anyone heard anything else about the tape of Bidens daughter doing coke? If it were a Palin girl, it would be playing at the IMAX right now. I dont personally feel she is qualified to be VP or any other high ranking national office but there are sure plenty of people in Washington with less qualification than her and some hold very high positions. |

Funny, Palin sure used her son's enlistment and her baby daughter's handicap as part of her platform...and now she's doing the same with Bristol and her abstinence tour despite just last February Bristol stating that abstinence wasn't a 'realistic option.' But let's see....Rush Limbaugh calls Chelsea Clinton the 'White House dog' on network television...Hillary Clinton is said to be 'pimping' her daughter...yet the media only attacks poor Sarah. Give me a break. |

You mean the tape that no ones seen and the ones who have aren't willing to buy because it may or may not be someone that looks a bit like Biden's daughter? |
