Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

pope been-a-dick did just that this week when he called for a "world political authority" in a newly released encyclical on social justice. the pope pulls no punches, failing to stand up to private property rights and prior encyclicals referencing scripture. pope been-a-dick resorts to trendy "catch phrases" and an embracing of communist ideals to unabashedly supporting a new world order.

"Instead of using time-tested Catholic social justice principles, Benedict employed trendy slogans such as “food security”/“food insecurity” and how the world is “increasingly interconnected” and “interdependent.” So it’s not surprising that the leftist New York Times trumpeted that “Pope Benedict XVI on July 7 called for a 'world political authority' to manage the global economy and for more government regulation of national economies to pull the world out of the current crisis and avoid a repeat.”

If you believe the NWO is evil, then there is no reason to be surprised by the Pope's support. Catholicism teaches virtues and practices the opposite. "Give up your worldly posessions......to us"

I have a great story though, and I swear this is absolutely no shit. When I moved into the house that I live in now 2 years ago I was burning boxes and other things from the move in my bonfire. In one of the boxes was a picture of Pope John Paul and it fell out on the way to the fire. I went back, picked it up and threw it in the fire. It blew out although that was the only wind I had felt. I threw it back in and the damn thing wouldn't burn and as sure as I am sitting here, the section of the fire that I put it in actually went out even though there was dry wood, sticks and cardboard in there. I got the fire going again, threw the picture back in, went to bed and the next morning everything was burnt in the fire except that picture which just had a small scorch mark on the corner. My wife and I aren't supersticious or anything like that, so for us to take notice of this was weird.

No meaning or moral to that story...just thought you would like it.

The body knows what fighters don't: how to protect itself. A neck can only twist so far. Twist it just a hair more and the body says, "Hey, I'll take it from here because you obviously don't know what you're doing... Lie down now, rest, and we'll talk about this when you regain your senses." It's called the knockout mechanism.

ive heard similar things from other people but as don mclean famously sang, " ...fire is the devil's only friend."

i bet been-a-dick would burn. well build this huge pyre in honor of jacque de molay and tie that bastard down.
in addition to one world government is one world religion. who is in a better position to benefit from one world religion other than the pope? especially when you consider how far off course from scripture the catholic church has gotten over the years.
no, im not surprised by this article. im surprised i accidently found it tonight...but not surprised by its content. (i was looking for information on the honduran "coup").
i say fuck the pope with the same confidence i say fuck the jews. neither are near as relevant as theyd like to think they are. the Bible does a good job of addressing that, and i dont feel ill be made to answer for my opinion other than my choice of verbage.

scary stuff trouble. It certainly is in the best interest of poorer nations to have a global currency which can easily be manipulated to drain resources from the US.
