Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

Capital One Bowl was a loss but an OT loss to Georgia is not a 5th Tier Shit Bowl

Remind me what Bowl ND went to in 2001, 2003 and 2004 How did ND Fair in the 2002 Game

Lady never won a bowl game and has failed to lead his team to the Playoffs.

To this point in time Orton is better

Lady might pass him up but to this day he has not
fair point considering Amish has 5 years experience to Quinn's 1.

as for Turdue capital one bowl - it was a loss. you put turdue in the bowl games Quinn was in and they would get absolutely pummelled. now skip along and watch alamo bowl reruns.

probably right. but to brag about playing/beating the Central Michigans of the world in some turdlicker bowl is even worse.

I'm not bragging, that was an embarrising bowl game to play...at IU they would be breaking open bubbly in the locker room before the game started...(three weeks before newyears)

YOu guys know i am a ND fan, and i would have to say that at this point it would be Orton. It is kind of an unfair comparison tough, as this year is the first year Quin will start. Really, i see them as very similar QB's. Neither have great arms, but they are accurate, they have good timing, and they are good game managers. I think Quinn is a little more athletic, but other than that, they are both pretty well matched.

I am with Hog on this, even though, i am an ND fan. Orton has the edge now due to more experience, but i think Quinn will have better numbers in the end.

Kyle Orton won a bowl game

He has led his team to the playoffs
orton played in 5th tier shit stain toilet bowls.

and if he was so effective for Chicago, why couldn't they ship his drunken amish ass out of there fast enough?

Quinn has his work cut out for him in Cleveland, but at least he got an improvement at head coach.
Capitol one "no hassle" bowl is a 5th teir shit bowl? Where would you call IU's bowl prowess over the last 10 years? 7th or 8th tier? Getting to one every once in a while is nice too. Going to get more than 25K in the stadium per game this year when you're not playing ohio state or purdue?
dummy, this thread has NOTHING TO DO WITH IU.

take another pill corky

True....he didn't even play in the playoffs. He lost his job to Grossman by then.

Then again, Jay Cutler is a career 17-20 QB who has never had a winning season as a QB or been in a playoff game.

I guess he'll get to mark both off his list this year.

“He’s always been a guy — maybe to a fault — he would always try to do what I said. That seems like something simple in coaching, but those are the guys I hang my hat on. We’ve had some guys in our program, we had a couple guys that felt I had a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. And they were right — I do have a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. I like guys that go to class, that are academic All-Americans, that come early, that stay late, that love the game of basketball. I am biased towards those guys. And I’m biased towards Rob Hummel. But I’m also biased towards their habits, their work ethic, and how they carry themselves."

Jesus Christ UB,
Rex got hurt and Orton took over and lead the Bears to the Playoffs. Rex recovered from his injury and was the QB in the playoffs

I never said took them to the Super Bowl I said led them to the playoffs

Get your facts straight. Grossman started all 16 regular season games and all 4 postseason games in the year that the Bears made the Super Bowl.

2005 was the season that Orton started the majority of the games until Grossman was healthy for the last few games and played in the playoffs and the Bears got beat by the Panthers in their playoff game with Grossman starting. I'll remember the night as Steve Smith abusing the Bears secondary.
