Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

Bottom line: Colletto and Akers are considered by many to be Purdue's worst football coaches in school history. And you are comparing Chuck to them. That speaks volumes. The "success" you speak of involves no quality wins in four seasons.

Dismissed.

Yet so true. 10-15 and counting.

When is the last time a Purdue coach lost 15 games in two seasons?

huh?

he's 28-21 at Nd so quit cherry picking choad boy,

and I would bet, if I really cared, some turdue coaches lost 10+ games in 2 years.

besides, the point of all this is you would kill for Hopeless to go 28-21 in his first 4 years at Turdue like Weis has. and all the other turdue dorks would too. but at ND they are ready to can him and they probably will if he doesn't win at least 9 games this year. at turdue, they erect gold statues if a football coach did that.

THAT IS THE HUGE DIFFERENCE.

All coaches are better than Chuck until proven other-Weis.

But keep bragging of 28 mediocre wins (20 with Ty's players, who was fired for similar lack of results). It is quite comical.

mediocre wins? that pretty much sums up the history of turdue sports. but keep hammering Weis for it.

If Hopeless goes 28-21 his first 4 years at turdue, you will cream you pants.

If Hope loses 15 games in two years we can start making comparisons to Chuck. Until then, you have nothing.

If IU went 28-21 over the course of ANY 4 years in their history, the coach would go down as the coach of all time.

IU basketball homers deflection to ND football is much more comical than those who stick to both their home teams.

you're damn right IU fans would. see, that is the HUGE HUGE difference between you BITTER ANGRY turdue fans and IU fans:

IU fans are REALISTIC and don't belittle other teams' accomplishments like you turdue misfits are pros at doing. You are delusional and do not realize your football program basically sucks. the sooner you do that; the happier individuals you will be. and quit worrying about what ND does and try to improve your own program instead of belittling theirs.

Mallory went 3-8 and 2-9 (0-8 BT) his last 2 years so his decline and firing was deserved.

so you keep a 66 year old coach who is obviously on the decline to keep coaching 2-9 teams? yeah, glad you aren't a trustee at IU.

nothing to lose by firing him and trying to bring in new blood. why didn't you dipshits keep a declining and aging Tiller around? seriously, get a brain transplant.
