Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

FYI smartass - Bill Mallory went 27-18-2 from 1987 -1990, so kindly go fuck yourself.
Yeah, and they chased him outta town.....

and so went the glory of IU being a respectable two sport school
Mallory went 3-8 and 2-9 (0-8 BT) his last 2 years so his decline and firing was deserved.
yeah, now that's been the average year since, smart move
so you keep a 66 year old coach who is obviously on the decline to keep coaching 2-9 teams? yeah, glad you aren't a trustee at IU.

nothing to lose by firing him and trying to bring in new blood. why didn't you dipshits keep a declining and aging Tiller around? seriously, get a brain transplant.
because he chose to retire......he knew he had lost his edge and retired to Wyoming, not fired

HUGE DIFFERENCE

you're telling me you turdue dorks weren't murmurring for his "retirement" (nice word) a couple of years ago when it had become obvious turdue would never be better than 8-4 under him and would only get worse as his record indicated? shit, turdue fans wanted him to "retire" 3 or 4 years ago but choose to be nice about it. I guarantee you turdue stiffs told him to "retire" or be fired.

dipshit

hahaha, i'd love to know your source on Tiller being 'forced' to retire.

Tiller lost his edge the last few years, he tried to "not lose" as opposed to win, he wasn't aggressive. He knew it, the fans knew it. He was ready to retire, and the fans were ready for a shot of energy.

back to the original topic: turdue would kill to have a coach with Weis' record after 4 years

BTW - we'll see who has the better coach when the 2 teams play. My money is on ND

we already had one in Tiller. And Hope is unknown, so your made up "subject" is irrelevent and without cause.

The topic is actually a funny billboard, until you start sucking off Big Chuck.

interesting how/who each school hired a new football coach.

ND - hired a 3 time super bowl winning offensive coordinator

Turdue - hired a no-name D2 scrub

interesting. shit even IU could have done much better

then why don't they?

oh right, they are too busy signing Lynch long term

P.S. the year after fat chuck left, the patriots offense broke out. Their defense is what was key to their superbowls. You might think a guy with 4 straight top-10 classes could do better with his own recruits than with willinghams, but alas

interesting how NE hasn't sniffed a super bowl since Weis left.

as for IU, Lynch is the second worst coach in the BT to Hopeless. don't worry, Hopeless can easily move up the rankings given Bill's chronic ineptitude. He will be gone after this year and Gruden, Bowden or Phil Fullmer will be stepping in. but it won't be some D2 scrub.

Did UB seriously say that Purdue would kill for a coach with Weis' four year record?

Weis went 29-21 in his first four years...with the wins being frontloaded by another coach's talent.

Tiller went 33-16 in Tiller's first four years.

I think playing in a superbowl and an NFC championship game is considering "sniffing" a superbowl you fucking retard.

Bowden, Gruden, Fullmer ?!!?!!?!

brumdork, 2 things:

1. Tiller was an exception for turdue football
2. We are talking about now - and Turdue would kill if Hopeless goes 28-21 in his first 4 years.

I like how EVERY purdue fan suddenly has this barometer of how well Hope is doing in his four years. BEFORE HE COACHES HIS FIRST GAME. God Damn you're a fucking retard
