Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

Hate to say but the Big 10 is gonna be way down again this year. Its a good thing for Purdue cause we could beat a few more teams i didnt really think we could.

Ohio st barley beats navy at home.
Iowa needs 2 blocked kicks to hang on.
Ill gets blown out to a team that lost its starting QB, over 3000 yards in Reciving.

All in all not a good day for the Big 10

I am waiting for the Wis game to end before doing the Big Ten review. I agree some teams showed great concern a two teams surprised.

Valid points, but i never try to judge too much based on a first game. For Ohio State the season really begins next week.

Agreed, a conference that had alot of question marks to being with did nothing to help that out today.
The most shocking to me was Ill. Everyone thought they could compete again this year, and to just get blown out by Mizzu with all that they lost is a bad sign.

Yeah i wasn't sure about them winning, but i expected them to do better.

I was also surprised at the Minn sSyracuse game. Paulus looked better than i expected.

Forgot about the Minn- Cuse game, and not as big a shocker considering the way Minn finished last year.

I wouldn't be to worried about the OSU game. They always come out slow and play a team they should beat bad really close. Look at was it Ohio last year. On the other hand Purdue suprised me today and that is a great thing. Never thought I'd see a 200 yard rushing game from PU today or any time in the next couple of years. Next week will let us know exactly how far ahead of schedule we are this year or if we are at all this year. Week one footabll is hard to read.

Yeah it was, and they did the same thing the year before against another Mac or Meac team. They do have a tendency for whatever reason to start slow, and with style of play is such that they are probably never just going to up and beat someone by 35 points in their opener.

I wouldn't be too worried about OSU. When they won the title back in 2002, a ton of there games where close that should not have been.

IU's stadium expansion looks even more redic. Having to wait for Ohio State to come in to do a fly by so the stands look full..They should scrap the football program and dump more money into something worth while.. Also barely beating EKU isn't a good "win" for the team, I bet they lose the rest of their games

Man, I'll never forget that TD pass that Krenzel made late in the game against us when we had them on the ropes.
