Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

Upset Alert

Fox sports lists Purdue over Oregon as one of their upset alerts for this weekend.

Robert Smith said the same thing on colege football live on ESPN this afternoon too.

Really tough game to predict. Purdue plays alot of young guys, and guys that have not played much and Eugene is one of the toughest stadiums to play in. And on the other hand Oregon just look awful last week, add to that they lost prolly there best Offensive player and now have 2 freshman RBs to lean on.

Home field advantage wins out: Oregon 35
Purdue 24

P.S If Purdue jumps on Oregon early and shuts down there Offensive early to could really put some doubt into that Oregon Offensive and change the way the game plays out. But I dont see it happening.

Those are good points that i have seen a number of Pro-Purdue people make, but to be fair, they looked awful on the road against a very good Boise St team. This week is a completely different situation. The fact that they looked so bad last week is probably even more motivation for them this week.

I'll take Oregon 34-23, and i wouldn't have it that close if Blount was playing.

Toledo up on Colorado at half tonight 23-3. I'd count that as a positive for Purdue.

Their passing attack will mess with some people. Colorado isn't good, but still a major conference team.

Not sure we're going to get to see it on the east coast. Anybody with Direct TV know anything ?

It's on FSN Northwest. Read that it's supposed to be on 688 everywhere, but I can't get many FSN channels. BTN is not carrying it.

It's the national game on Fox Sports Net, so if you get that, you should be good.

Too tough to predict. Having only seen one game with Hope in charge, I don't know what to expect from the Boilers, but I liked the running game. I'll say 24-17 Purdue, but that's just a wild ass guess.

Yeah i don't know how your local Fox Sports affiliate works, but we get all of the late west coast FSN games here in Arkansas.
